"Good morning Hothead!", Aarav said slapping her on the arm.
"Hey Baboonhead!", she replied fake strangling him.
"Wow! One more way to wish each other?", Zahra said chuckling.
"New way for friends to wish each other.", Aarav said winking.
"Keya!? You betrayed me! Aarav and you? Bestfriends?", Sam said faking a shock.
"First of all we are just friends, Not bestfriends and I will keep on hitting him.", She said with sass.
"Hitting me or hitting on me?", Aarav asked messing her pixie cut hair.
"Aarav Kohli! Run for your life!", she said as he ran and she ran behind him around corridors and the ground till Aarav got tired and he stopped near the basketball court.
They sat down at the bleachers.
"That was a good run.", Keya said sighing.
Aarav nodded.
"How did things go with Sonali?", she asked with a smile.
"Good, all thanks to you She has a boyfriend now.", he said winking.
"Oh my! Finally!", Keya exclaimed fist bumping in the air.
"But Aarav, don't tell ger that I told you to do all this. Okay?", she requested.
"Why?", Aarav asked.
"Just don't.", she said getting up and going to her class.

"Keyaaa!! He asked me out!", Sonali said excitedly as soon as Keya entered the class.
"Oh really?!", Keya faked and gave her a congratulatory hug.
As they parted and sat on their seat Aarav came in and rolled his eyes at Shanaya for being so secretive.
If she played a cupid, she could tell, right?

The classes for the day got over.
They all  were sitting in a coffee shop near the university.
"Aaru come na, lets go on a movie date today.", Sonali almost purred.
"Not today babe. I have a very important work to do.", he said glancing at Keya.
"But..", Keya started to argue when he held her hand under the table.
He glared at her and signalled her not to open her mouth.
"Okay then, I will take your leave.", he said getting up soon after that.

Before Keya could finish her coffee and get up, she received a message on her phone.
Aarav: Don't come out immediately, meet me at the end of the street in 10 minutes.

She left after a few minutes to see Aarav waiting at the end of that street.
"So shall we?", he asked.
She nodded walking with him.
"Aarav, you could have given me the address of my interview and could have gone with her for the movie.", she said.
"Yes but I gave a word to go with you.", he replied.
"Man of his words?", Keya asked winking.
"Yes, I like to stick to my words and promises. You could tell me your secrets and I wouldn't tell a soul.", he explained more about himself.
" Okay..So this nice man lies to his girlfriend?", she teased.
"Well, she is not the girl you think her to be. If I told her the truth, she would have not talked to you for about 3 days. So, I didn't lie, I just twisted the truth.", he said shrugging.
"This way you are never going to be serious about her.", Keya said rolling her eyes.
He shrugged and said, "Here we are, this is your new office.", he said pointing to a building that said,
" Sydney Sunday"
"Wow. You are going to get me a job here?", Keya asked.
Sydney Sunday was a digital space, radio station and magazine company, which was way reputed in Sydney and Keya had heard of it back in India too!

"Aarav what are we planning to do here?", she asked.
"Come with me.", he said almost dragging her in the building.
They went up and Aarav straight up went to the reception desk and asked, "Hey Kenny, is Sophia there?"
"Hi Aarav.", Kenny said getting up and hugging Aarav.
"Yes, just wait a minute, I will make arrangements.", he said.
A few minutes later, they were called in.
"Hi Sophia!", Aarav said hugging a lady, in her mid 30s.
"This is my friend Keya, Keya this is Sophia, she is the HR head and handles a certain part of radio production here.", He explained.
"Sophia, Remember we had a talk about, you wanting a young yet experienced individual for your radio show?", Aarav asked.
"Yes, we still do!", Sophia said excitedly.
"Meet Keya.", he said pointing at her.
"Don't mind Keya, but Aarav we need someone with atleast six months of experience as a radio jockey.", Sophia said in a sympathising voice.
"Maam, May I show you my certificates and work experience?", Keya asked.
"You do?! You have work experience? Spare me, I thought you were a fresher.", Sophia said surprised.
Keya showed her all the achievements and accolades, in communications course and her experience as a radio jockey and a part-time journalist back in India.
"Keya we have a large Indian audience here. We are planning to start a Bollywood Special show which includes talking about India, Bollywood, Cinema, culture of India, latest interesting happenings there and phone interviewing a few celebrities very occasionally. We are offering you this.", Sophia put forward her offer.
"I accept, what would be the salary? And will the time be in accordance with my classes?", Keya inquired.
"Yes Keya dear. You can work after your college.", she said and further discussed her pay which made Keya very content, because it was quite a large sum for a low maintenance person like her, and infact any high maintenance student from a foreign land like hers would have felt so.
After signing the contract and completing the formalities, Keya and Aarav left.
