This is love story between Taylor and Chase, a guy she bumps into in the mall. Find out what happens...

Taylor’s POV

The phone rang for the fifth time and Taylor decided it was time to stop petting Meredith, get up and pick up the phone.

"Hello?" She queried as she grabbed the phone

"Hey Taylor, it's Tree . Just calling to let you know that rehearsal has been moved till tomorrow because there has been a mix up with the booking."

"Ok, no problem. Thanks for letting me know, I replied, Is everything ok? "

"Yes. The construction of your set is on schedule. Should be done in about a month"

"That's great! Thank you so much Tree! I'll talk to you later."

I uttered a "goodbye" as I hung up the phone.

I called my bodyguard, and then got myself ready as I decided it was time to go grocery shopping. This was my favourite thing to do and one of the few ordinary things I could still do. It was something that seemed mundane to most people. But for me, I could only do it when I was off the road. And I liked to feel like this part of my old life would never go away.

Chris, my bodyguard arrived and I said hello to him, plastering my black raybans and striding out of the door. I was immediately confronted with an assortment of flashes and waiting paparazzi. I started heading towards whole foods, paparazzi in toe.

“HEY TAYLOR! DO YOU LIKE NEW YORK?”

“I LIKE YOUR DRESS TAYLOR!”

“ARE YOU DATING ANYBODY” they shouted.

This was the stressful interaction I had to deal with daily. I never really answered. I just smiled and kept on walking.  Chris was right beside me and he handed me my earphones he was carrying. I jammed them in and drowned out the noise of the paparazzi. I listened to my music and concentrated on walking straight.

I got to whole foods and headed to the food section. I gave Chris a list of food utensils he could go get. The paparazzi got diluted. Some of them waited outside, others followed me in. I didn’t see any of them but I knew they were somewhere in the store taking pictures of me through the aisles.

Panic at the disco came on and I sang along as I manoeuvred through the endless food aisles. I was soon lost in thought, thinking about my upcoming album, wondering if people were going to like it. The red tour wasn’t even over yet but I kept thinking about the next album. I wanted it to be better than all the other albums I had made. But I tried not to expect too much.

As I was thinking, I accidentally bumped into someone.

Chase’s POV

“Oh sorry” I apologised to the person I had just bumped into. I looked up and the first thing I noticed was how beautiful she was.

“That’s ok. I wasn’t paying attention.” she replied as she took her ear bud out of her ear.

“Whatcha listening to?” I asked. There was something about her that reminded me of someone but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. I knew I had seen her somewhere.

“Panic at the disco by They’ve got a great album. Do you know them?” she replied.

“Nope. I’m afraid I’m not much for music. It was more of a rhetorical question.”
