The Forest

I had to respect their wishes. They were Snow and David after all. And they were right. I was just putting innocent lives in danger. Innocent lives. Everything was my fault. All because I couldn't keep a secret. I would have rather died than any of this happen. I would have picked to die any day.

I picked up my bow and placed one of my arrows back with the others. I kept looking down at my feet not knowing what to say. I simply looked at them, and at the sight of their faces I hugged them both. They had been so kind to me and I didn't have any way to repay them. I owed them.

Silently, I walked out the castle and into the Enchanted Forest. My new home. I could do this. I could survive. Trekking through the forest with my bow and an arrow constantly on alert, I kept looking around for Regina's knights. I was most vunerable in the forest.

Crunch.

Oh no. Someone was following me. I placed my hood up and hid behind a tree. Silence. Silence. Another footstep. And another. There were lots of them. That meant lots of people. That meant that what ever they were after was not a loving hug. I started running. I heard the running follow me. "YOU STOP! IN THE NAME OF THE QUEEN!" Oh great, this was all I needed right now wasn't it?

I turned around and started shooting at them. I wouldn't kill them. I'm not like them or the queen. Only injure them so they can't chase me. Simple enough.

There were six of them. Right, y/n, think! I kept running through the trees. I turned behind and aimed my arrow. I aimed. And shot. YES. Straight in the foot. He fell down. And another knight tripped over the one that just fell. YES... I kept running.

I fell. Someone was in front of me. My vision was blurry. Snow?

Regina.
