I was really totally insanely not excited to be spending the next year in Sydney. I mean yeah, I wouldn't miss my parents too much because to be honest we weren't close in the slightest, and it wasn't like I had any friends that I would be missing, but still, flying all the way to the other side of the world for an entire year? That's a pretty extreme change.

My parents had decided to ship me off to stay with my mom's family so they could go and travel the world like they'd always dreamed, and they wanted me to stay in school so they were dumping me at my aunt's house for the next year. It can't be that difficult to get a tutor on the road or whatever but they were determined to leave me behind when they hit the road.

Whatever. Nothing I can really do about it now.

I was snapped out of my thoughts as an overhead voice told me to fasten my seatbelt as the plane would soon be landing. Oh God. This was it.
