His hand had moved to my neck and squeezed gently, his mouth came close to mine and hovered over my lips.

He thought I was a witch?

I was. I obviously figured that out for myself but nobody was supposed to know. How did he know?

I pushed him away from me roughly and he looked at me like I just shot someone. "I'm not anything but angry. Get out of my room." I said, fury dripping from my voice.

I had to be mad, he had to know I wanted him to leave me alone.

For now.

He smirked then, "i knew you'd still be feisty.."

"Leave."

"Not until you admit what you are.. Kansis, do you really think I don't know you well enough to see it?" He said.

I sighed and crossed my arms. He was right about knowing me. But I knew him too. "Why don't you admit what you're doing here? You think I can't see the truth?"

"No. I know you can."

"You're not here for anyone.."

"Except you."

I rolled my eyes and my head shook in annoyance, "you didn't know about me being here."

"I heard things at the corporative. Names of all the people in the outposts. Yours was here.." He admitted.

He came all the way here to take me to the sanctuary. Just me? Even when the possibility of my name being someone else with the same name was an option. Things didn't add up.

"What the hell is Mead doing here? Why doesn't she remember me?" I asked.

"She's a robot. I erased her hard drive when she arrived here."

"You said you're part of the corporative... How?" I asked. I wanted to know all the things I didn't understand.

"This is getting off topic.. All I wanted was your confession and then I'll leave you to fucking me in your mind." He smirked at the end. But he had something important he wasn't admitting either.

I walked over to him slowly, "I'll admit whatever you want.." I dragged my hand down his still bare chest, "I'll even call you daddy.. if you admit you're the same as me." I said quietly, lacing my voice with seduction because it use to do the trick of making him melt in my hands. And it still seemed to work.

He moved his hand to the side of my neck and leaned down before softly kissing me, not like the desperate feverish way he had done before. His mouth moved away enough to speak, "you and I are not the same.. I don't believe you're ready to know my secret." He whispered.

My eyebrows furrowed together. Did he really think I would go with him anywhere without knowing?

"If you don't tell me, I'll stay here and die with the rest of these people. You can go to your precious sanctuary alone."

He didn't like this answer.

His eyebrows pulled together and he looked down at me with a look of anger.

"You tell me your secret and I'll tell you mine."

"You already know. I'm a witch." I admitted.

A small smile came across his face before he rolled his eyes back and the dim lights in my room started to flicker. His face went different. Scary. Not like the Michael I had known or like the one who was just standing in front of me. He looked like a demon...
