"ryan gets injured"
round 1: collingwood vs hawthorn
"im so ready for the first game of the season," ryan says over the phone.
"your gonna do great," y/n says.
y/n and ryan have been dating ever since new years day which was special because it was the first day of a new year.
"i gotta go now, coach is calling," ryan says.
"i'll see ya there, good luck," she says.
"thank you, see you there," ryan says and hangs up.
time skip to the game
it was five minutes and sixteen seconds left of the game in quarter two and something happened.
ryan sprained his ankle.
"oh no, y/n ryan's on the ground!" y/s/n says to y/n.
"what, why?" y/n asks worried.
"he's being taken off the ground, it looks like it's his left ankle," y/s/n says.
"oh, i hope he's okay," y/n says, hoping for the game to end so she could see ryan.
time skip to end of the game
hawthorn had won the game by thirty-four points.
it was time for the players to walk into the rooms and fans, relatives and others were allowed in.
"if your looking for ryan he's in the medical room," jaeger, one of ryan's teammates say to y/n.
y/n walks to the medical room and sees ryan on a bed with his ankle iced.
y/n walks to him and sits onto the bed. "are you okay?" she asks.
"i'm fine" he chuckles nervously. "the doctors say it's not serious, it can heal and i'll be able to play again in another couple games time," he says.
y/n sighs and hugs ryan.
"that's good news," she says.
ryan smiles at y/n.
"sorry to interrupt this moment, but we're about to do the club song," jaeger says smiling.
y/n helps ryan up out of the bed.
ryan walks into the group and they start singing.
after the song, ryan walks up to y/n and kisses her on the lips.
"what was that for?" she asks smiling.
"can't i kiss my girlfriend without any questions asked?" he asks smiling.
y/n chuckles.
