Nakaupo kami sa maliit na picnic mat na binili kanina ni Mavvy habang kumakain kami ng pizza. We've taken out meal for lunch but I preferred pizza so he decided to have the same thing.

"Psycho. You seemed to know many things about your brother. Siguro kilala mo rin 'yong babaeng kasama niya no'ng puntahan natin siya."

"I don't know her. Kung kilala ako no'n, hindi sila ni Raven ang magkasama. Ako ang pipiliin no'n,"nakangising tugon niya.

Nakakaasar 'yong kahambugan niya pero kahit papaano ay napapatawa niya naman ako. He's funny when he boasts, funnier even because it comes out naturally.

"Excuse me. Mas gwapo ang kuya mo,"I challenged which turned out successful because he creased his forehead.

"Nasasabi mo lang 'yan kasi hindi mo pa ako nasubukang titigan," he smugly answered with an evil grin. "Don't even try now. I can't have another girl fancying me."

"Ew."

He laughed boisterously as if I said something funny when in fact I didn't. Is this the first time he heard that expression? That's like of daily use to me.

"Ang arte-arte mo, Frappie, pero ang cute mo kapag gumaganyan ka. Ikaw 'yong tamang halimbawa ng 'more adorable with the flaws'."

"Hindi ako maarte ah!"I retorted, feeling insulted. Dati, aminado naman ako. Talagang naiinis lang ako ngayon tuwing naririnig kong sinasabihan ako niyan kasi naaalala ko lang ang araw na hiniwalayan ako ni Raven.

"You are, in all ways. But it's okay. Like I said, you're still cute."

"That's the point! I'm not cute. I'm pretty,"I declared, making him burst into a louder laughter. "What? Everyone sees that!"

"Frappie, pretty is an understatement."

Woah. Hindi ko napaghandaan 'yon. To avoid getting more nervous, I avoided his gaze. When Pyscho gives a compliment, it's like an obligation to just blush. Wait, did I say I blushed?

"What were you and kuya like when you're together?"he asked, making me look up to him. Ang seryoso ng mukha niya. "Nevermind. I don't want to know."

"You won't ask if you don't want to know."

"Curious lang ako which is just minutes ago. Hindi na ako curious ngayon," aniya pa. Seryoso parin 'yong mukha. Para ngang bata eh.

He's so funny; I can't stop my lips from forming into curves.

"Okay."

I didn't say anything further and just focused on finishing the slice of pizza in my hand.

"Do you really still love him?" he suddenly asked again.

I craned my neck a bit to look at him. His face still looked dead serious, more serious this time.

"You know the answer to that," sagot ko. "It's just so hard, Mavvy. It's so hard to still love a person who has broken all his promises. He used to tell me before that I will always be the only one. But look at him now,"smiling bitterly, I narrated. "Kaya ikaw, 'wag kang mangako sa isang tao kung hindi ka pa talaga siguradong siya na 'yong gusto mong makasama habang-buhay."

"Woah. Ba't di mo dalhin sa bahay?"I chirped excitedly. "Ipakilala mo sa'min."

"Ayokong magselos si Raven,"nakangising sagot niya.

"Why would he be jealous? Marami ba talagang babae 'yang kuya mo?"naaasar na tanong ko. Bwesit na Raven 'yon! "Ugh. I can't believe him."
