Ever since Alex's arrival, Rose felt much more comfortable around him and, overall, happy. Her grandma hadn't yet arrived home yet - she had been on a voyage around the world and would be set to arrive back in a few months. In the meantime, Rose enjoyed Alex's company. They ate together, watched T.V together and did practically everything together. Of course, there were enough rooms in Rose's mansion for them to be in separate bedrooms - naturally, Alex chose the one at the fifth floor; he easily got the best view.

Sat together on the sofa, Rose and Alex watched 'Scream', a classic horror film. Despite how large the sofa was, Rose found herself sat at the far end, right next to Alex. Alex didn't mind; if anything, he edged closer to her. Rose let him.

After a while, however, a knock on the door was heard, so Alex went. When he came back, he arrived with the most delicious pepperoni pizza Rose had ever tasted. Even the rich, tomato smell wasn't a match to how it tasted.

I'm the morning, both Rose and Alex were hurrying to get ready for school - the film they'd watched carried on until the early morning, resulting in oversleeping. Rose didn't care, but Alex was already stressing, insisting that they both be 'more responsible'. Rose didn't agree.

Rose couldn't help but notice how much she kept finding Alex staring at her, before quickly turning away and blushing. At first, it was just once every lesson, but it soon turned into around five times per lesson. However, Rose couldn't deny how often she kept taking quick glances at him. All she knew was that maybe he was starting to grow on her and maybe she was growing on him, too.

After a while, people started to be a lot nicer to both Rose and Alex. She was still wondering why, but she accepted it. People were no longer sniggering at Alex, and Rose was free from jealous glares. Maybe it was because both of them had changed - neither of them had fighted for a while and Rose no longer treated the less popular kids like dirt; she treated them the same as everyone else.

Sat underneath the tree, Rose leaned on Alex's shoulder as he drew the scenery around him. He first started with the bare trees, then the remnants of the once snowy ground. Everything just seemed perfect to Rose, from the scene to her relationship. However, there was one question she still thought about, unanswered.

"Alex?" Rose looked towards him, an inquisitive gaze.

"Yes?"

"I remember months ago, when you drew me? I just wanted to ask, what would you draw me like now?"

Alex  contemplated this, before replying, "Not the same as I once did. Probably completely different. In fact, would you like me to draw you now?"

Rose nodded, curious to see if his feelings towards her changed, so, Alex started drawing. As Rose watched, she saw how well he captured every curve. Even every imperfection seemed to be a perfection in the way he drew it. No longer were there any labels, but the way he drew her was enough for her to understand.

By the end of it, Alex stared at Rose's shocked face, "Sorry. Have I done it wrong?"

"No," Rose couldn't tell whether she was smiling or crying, "It's perfect."

For a minute, Rose found herself staring into Alex's dark brown eyes, Alex staring back. Many would find this uncomfortable, but, the truth was, Rose never did. Alex raked his fingers through her golden hair, the other hand wiping the tears off her cheeks. Rose had waited for months for a kiss and she wasn't resisting any longer. Slowly, she pressed her lips against his. A wave of warmth came over her, but she didn't seem embarrassed if anyone else saw this. She wanted him more than ever and she didn't hold back. Gradually, she licked the edge of his lips, deeper an deeper, before both tongues met in the middle. Rose had never felt this feeling ever before, craving more, but she realised how much this moment meant to her and wouldn't change it for the world. On and on, their tongues intertwined with each other. On and on, Rose kissed him, wishing it could last forever. Eventually, however, they broke away, staring into each other's eyes, a sweet smile upon her face.
