72 hours missing...

Colt

Colt lay awake starring up and out of his window at the star filled sky. He had spent his day printing out thousands of Fliers and posting them all over town and in the the surrounding towns.

He thought of her all day. It hurt his heart. He hoped she was safe....

****

Faye.

I lay staring at the ceiling. I was uncomfortable on the floor, but I didn't want to lay on the mattress. I lay there, tears rolling down my face. I was nervous and scared and hurt.

I sat up quickly when I heard footsteps approaching. I'd been in the small room for hours. They were bound to come back eventually. When the foot falls passed my room, I sighed in relief and lay back down again.

Breathe Faye, Breathe. Inhale, Exhale. How do I get out of this?

I sat for awhile thinking about how I could get out of it.

The truth is, I can't. I guess I will pray that I live.

~~~
It took awhile, but I finally did sleep, It was a cold, restless sleep, but it was some sleep. I had just woken up from a sudden chill. I was turning my body to huddle closer to my inner warmth, when the door opened. I sat up and scooted back away from the light spilling into the darkness around me.
A Burly man walked in, followed by another. I continued to move back until my back was against the ice cold wall. I yelled out as the men grabbed for me. I kicked at them, trying to keep them away.
They got me anyways.
Colt
There had been no calls, no leads to where she could be, no ideas. Nothing.
Colt walked into her bedroom, on the second floor of her nineteenth century home. Pinks, purples, blues, and greens covered her room. She'd spent months rearranging it until it felt perfect. He walk to her beloved window seat. She'd hung white, flowing curtains, and over those, a baby pink set. It was quite right. He stared out until he heard someone approaching him. He turned to find Faith behind him holding a small, pretty journal.
"You're her best friend, read it, see if it has any clues." He gave her a look. "Please," She said.
He took the book from her hands and took a deep breath. Faith smiled and left the room, leaving Colt alone with Faye's Journal.
