i woke up to the sun beaming on my face. i was facing the wall and felt morty's arm around my waist. there were a few moments of peace before i remembered everything that happened.
i went downstairs and jumped at the sight of blood all over the floor. at least rick had taken care of the body.
i got some bleach and rubber gloves from the cabinets and started scrubbing the floor. god knows if the boys would even bother to clean it up.
i got most of the blood out, it stained the wood pink. then i realised.
those guys are after us, so how stupid would we be to stay in the same place? right? i had a plan.

rick, morty and i sat at the kitchen table eating cereal.
"thanks for cleaning the...you know." morty said.
"no problem." i said.
"you know, i've been thinking." i said. rick and morty both turned they're heads at me.
"i think we all need some kind of adventure." i said.
rick and morty looked at each other.
"that's stupid." said rick
"that's genius." said morty. "think about it rick, those guys are after us, plus extra fun and and we don't need to worry about anything here."
"come on, you know it will be fun." i said.
"okay, fine but it's your fault if we all get eaten by mutant aliens, (y/n)."
"where will we go?" morty asked.
"you dumb shit, you don't plan adventures." rick said standing up. "now shut up and eat your cereal, the both of you."
pov : narrator
his cold presence can silence any room and make you uncomfortable just to look at him. he was sitting in his master chair swirled around facing the fireplace, away from his desk.

he felt the presence of people entering the room.
"did you do what i asked for?" he said his chair still swirled around facing the fire.
"yeah, well..." carlton said taking off his balaclava.
"well?"
"we lost nicky." aiden said also taking off his balaclava.
"i'm not surprised." he said still facing the fire. "so... who did you kill?"
"that's the thing, boss... they got away this time." carlton sighed.
everyone immediately got uncomfortable in the room. you cold cut the tension with a knife.
"what do you mean?" he said with a icy cold tone to his voice.
"we had to leave because he, c-137 killed nicky but we did threa-"
"so you're telling me you didn't kidnap any of the c-137's?" he said getting angrier.
"boss we'll have it done-"
"i don't want to hear it." he snapped his fingers and two guards grabbed a hold of carlton and aiden.
"you need to learn your lesson. you're going in the cell and when you come out you are gonna get those c-137s, especially that rick."
"no boss please!" aiden and carlton struggled whilst getting hassled out of the room.
he swirled around his chair to his desk to face his guards.
"i'll make him pay."
