The night it all happened

It was a cold fall night you are just about to go for your nighttime walk just before bed you get off the couch and get your shoes, and coat on and grab your keys off the wall and lock the door behind you. Something didn't feel right but you leave anyway because you want to be epic. Every night you walk to the corner store to get a Dr Pepper before bed, it's around a 15-20 minute walk but you don't mind because you don't have any friends. It's around 9pm already you normally leave at 8pm, "uh o" you say out loud "I forgot to feed wormy". In a rush to get home now you start walking speedy when you trip over a rock, you look in your pocket for a bandaid but are shocked to find wormy instead. "Wormy¡! it is not safe for you to to be out here you idiot" he frowns and is now sad. You get to the store and get your pop and are on your way walking back when you hear something in the distance, "it's probably nothing" you say to yourself but you know it's not true. 3 minutes late you hear a voice say "mama mia", when Mario pops out from behind a tree. He asks if that's a worm on a string pointing at wormy "uh yes it is, don't you have video games to be in" he says "yeah but am I gunna" anyways you say "I have to go now nice talking to you" when he snatches wormy away. "WORMY NOOOOOOOOOOO" you try and throw a banana peel but it's too late you see his sad green face try to escape but he just isn't ripped enough, you scream "I WILL SAVE YOU DONT WORRY" the last thing you see is Mario running full send into the woods with wormy. 5 minutes late you are still sitting in the same spot on the sidewalk in disbelief, Sigh* at least I still have my Dr Pepper, you look at it in the bag and it explodes.
