Leaves brushing past my cold face, rain drops dripping off of my fur onto my line of sight. My paws hitting the mud ground with a force of strength but still swift as wind. Sprinting as fast as my will and body will take me, I felt my heart racing more and more. The thought of what was aproching behind me faster each second, pushed me to run faster. I don't want to die! I focased my ears to any noise near me, all u heard was the heaving of my lungs and cold breath along with the heavy drops of rain. I dragged to a stop, panicked that it may catch me I quickly looked to my surroundings and as a result I saw nothing. Overwhelmed with relief and exhaustion I collapsed, passing out to the noises of rain and wind.
I awoke with achingness all over from last night, my body was cold but at the same time covers in a blanket of slight warmth from the blazing sun. I slowly arouse from the wet muddy ground, cautiously walking North hoping there was a river or something significant. Eventually I found a river, flowing at a slow pace it was easy for me to approach it for some water.
As time passed I decided to wash my middy fur in the river, it took some times but I finally succeed in washing my white fluffy surprisingly thick fur, from the gross ruining mud and filth. I looked into the river at myself, thinking, "how did this happen, me becoming alone." While looking into my green eyes, I saw my magic glisten in them. I approached the tree with faith I could heal it with the little magic I still possessed. Slowly but eagerly, I circled the tree causing small flowers along with green healthy grass to emerge from the ground. As I reached to a stopping point, I lightly rested my paw on the dark, crippled bark of the tree. I could feel the magic within me beginning to function, it was hard I didn't have much. But just as I hoped, purplish-green ribbions of almost translucent but thick along with specs of sparkles, came around my legs and paws onto the dead bark wrapping itself around the tree. I could see the tree beginning to heal, growing. The leaves on the branches began to turn green and bright along with beautiful pinkish-blue blossoms emerging.
Finally the tree was healthy again, but from my efforts I was weak and frail from all the power that was taken out of me. Leaving the scene I began to walk North praying I can find some food and or supplies, but as I looked behind me I saw a slight trail of growing plants and weeds from my paws touching the grass. Confused by why my magic was still affecting the ground, I focused to draw it back into my self being.
Night approached I had a full belly thankfully, even though the whole day I was searching for other wolves like myself. But remembering what came last night, I knew what was to come. The dark shadow was in its way, this being has been chasing me for decades wanting to pray on my power of creation of any life which has recently successfully happened. I most protect my world, my work, my life long destiny. The wind began to pick up, rustling the trees and bushes along with moving my fur. I knew what this meant, looking to all my surroundings to see his face then suddenly the wing held to a stop like as if the world was frozen in place.
Then I heard him, his breathing right beside my ear. I was scared to turn around and face him, but I built up my courage and did anyway. Turing slowly to what I must face, I could feel his powers mixed with my own radiating off his body. As I fully turned I faced him dead on, I could see the deep glowing red eyes showing only evil content on his actions. All I could see was death and destruction...
He struck me with his sharp long claws, slitting my side my flesh split. From the force if this hit I flew hard against a enormous rough rock, nocking the air out of mmy lungs. "Please.... " I begged, "please shadow, you taking my powers will end this world all of creation!" The shadow walked up to me and looked me square into my green eyes with his dark flaming red eyes. As I looked deeper into his eyes, his soul instead of seeing just death and destruction I saw pain and sorrow and a deep aching saddness. Turing away my fears I pulled the shadow close to me entering its mind and soul.
I could see visions of what caused him this pain. Flames burning everywhere, screams, blood. Mothers crying with there dead puppups in there clutches. Then I saw the shadow running for his family but once he arrived there a group of about 5 shadow beings have already killed his wife and pups. Then the shadows looked into his direction quickly consuming him and his pain causing him to turn into the 6th shadow forever grieving his family's loss. Not long after all 6 shadows slaughter the entire pack....
I returned back to the present and the shadow quickly pushed me off of him as tears can down his cheeks. As I stumbled back in pain, suddenly I recalled waking up in a demolished cave area with bloody corpses all around me. And on that sacred day the gods shined the light of creation life and all good, blessing me with that loving but destructive power forever giving me this destiny. I ran on the shadow again tapping into his soul again to show him those memories, he stumbled back in disbelief saying with a hush voice, "Esmeralda... Is it you..?" "Yes it's me... Father" He shock his head refusing to believe me, "no it can't be I saw you all die! My pups my wife everyone! " I gave him time to puzzle through his ththoughts then he approached me, wrapping one paw around me neck pulling me in for a hug. "Hello, daughter... It's been awhile" I could feel him returning my powers to me, which caused me to grow in height now at eye length with my father, my fur became thicker, my eyes glow as if there emeralds, my tail becoming longer and very flowy. I rested my head on my fathers, the darkness began to leave him and his red eyes subsidized but his fur tainted with black from all the decades of being in the darkness.
