"Goodbye Kagami-kun may the best luck comes to you during your time in America"

"Yes goodbye for now Kuroko"

It was 5:30 am as I completely blanked out after I awoke from the flashback during my first year of seirin high school.  Kagami Taiga was the ace of the team meaning he was guiding us towards our goal. As for myself I was a shadow who helped him achieve what we needed to win. Last year during the winter cup it was neck on neck with one of the greatest teams known as Rakuzan.
Working to the bitter end I had to change the way I shine throughout the court.  As the clock ticks down faster and faster Kagami dunks the ball in!  We have won!   My team had won the winter cup and it was the best wish that we asked for.  Time passed by and last minute we got a answer from Kagami. 

"I'm leaving to go to America because another team watched our game against Rakuzan High and they shared with me that they are willing to take myself even further than before, like willing to lead me to my future and dream.  To be a NBA player!"

As I know that it was a goodbye for our ace I knew that I would have to work ten times harder even if he wasn't there to support me.

I awoke from the final words he screamed realizing that there would be more challenges ever before, but also noticing that I suddenly dozed off again, I stood up thinking on how today was going to be like. 

"Oh I went back to sleep,  it's already past an hour,  well I guess I shall get up and get started with my day"

I started to do my everyday routine by making myself useful, such as making my bed, cleaning up the place, also with feeding my dog nigou some delicious food.  Last minute or so before doing my last part of the job I got a phone call from someone that surprised me.

"Ring Ring"

It was Kiyoshi-Senpai.

It surprised me since he was off in America too due to what happened last year he had to do surgery for his knee, I knew he was doing fine there. Thinking on what say I held the phone up and started the conversation.

"Moshi Moshi Kiyoshi Senpai"

That moment, completely froze my mind,  the voice was not who I was expecting.

It was not kiyoshi at all.  It was totally not him at all!

"Ohayo Kuroko This is Hyuga Senpai and I have a message from Coach, so I know this would be hard on you but I'm sorry to say since that Kagami is now gone we no longer need a shadow like you, but before you say anything I'll say that none of us would be able to do what kagami could even if it meant by catching you passes.  You will probably change your style kuroko, which means there would be no way for you to be on this team. 

"Hyuga Senpai completely lost his mind"

Just as he was going to continue I lost myself and pressed hard on the end button.

"Loud distance beep"

I was desperately confused,but yet my heart felt the worst pain ever, everything came crashing down. 

"Ring Ring"

Another person was calling,  I felt like my heart would sank if I heard that line again.  I picked up the phone and quietly held it up against my ear.  Speaking onto the voice microphone I started feeling more confused.

"Ummm Hello who is this?"

"Kuroko Ohayo."

It was Akashi-kun.

The team captain that we played against at the winter cup or as a less explanation he was my old teammate. My voice box had no meaning or words to talk out loud. It was completely frozen  after what my team did to me,  I couldn't hold myself but quietly talked into the phone.
