<<greetings my beautiful sunshine! this will be my first long stories,, cause I was too lazy to write a part 1 for this.. but hope you like it!~>>

Ink opened his eyes, his multicolored pupils pinned back. Error nowhere to be seen, the other normally was looming over him after an intense battle. Such as the one they just had. Standing up, Ink examined the clearing. Nothing filled up in the vast clearing, ink splotches and strings laid everywhere on the ground.

Ink hopped gracefully over the messes, after some time. He gave up and ran straight through the mess, desperately calling out to Error. Wherever he was. Tears filled his eyesockets, this was unexpected. Ink fought back the urge to collapse and break into tears. He continued to push forward, unsure of his sense of direction. A soft, yet loud screech caught his attention. His gaze darted to where the noise came from.

Another screech came in that direction, Ink was trying to find out where that screech came from. But darkness oddly covered where the sound came from. Like fog, it was just hanging there. Ink stepped forward. And then began running until he came to the edge of the darkness. Right there laying in the darkness was Error, not to close to the edge of the darkness. Nor too far. Ink went closer and tried walking up to the other skeleton, his right arm lifted. Just as the tips of his fingers hit the darkness. A burning sensation was felt, as he moved his whole hand in.

The burning had gotten worse with his whole hand in, he flinched his hand out. The other skeleton looked as if he had his skull burned. His arms and legs included. Ink walks into the darkness his full body in it, again. He felt as if lava was poured onto him. Causing him to jump back, lose his footing while landing and falling onto his back. He yelped in pain.

The other skeleton groaned and sat up, standing up shakily and trying to exit this black fog around him. As if he knew something bad was going to happen, his shoulders were now tense. He moved his hand into the light, and it looked as if his hand were melted. He pushes his arm in, wincing. He must be feeling the same as when Ink tried entering the darkness.

Error finally gave up, screeching in pain, and falling onto his butt. His eyesockets were filled with tears. His breath coming in quick shallow breaths. Ink fell to his knees right at the edge of the darkness, Error sitting at the beginning of the darkness in front of Ink.

Ink cried into the palms of his hands. Error watching the painter. And raising a hand up, but not pushing it into the light. Holding it up in front of him...

Darkness cannot touch light, or its own darkness or color will change

Same as light, it cannot touch darkness, or its own lightness or color will change...

The two had been sitting there for hours now. Ink was sniffling from how much crying he had done for one day. Error sat in the foggy darkness, his gaze unreadable. He say very still and quiet. Each little movement he did he winced from the pain, each time. Ink stood up, walking into the darkness, shoulders tense. And his gaze soft, yet determined. He stood there for more than a minute. Before hopping out of the darkness. The burning feeling too overwhelming to even stand in there longer.

Error chuckled softly, his eye sockets clouded with tears. It was hard for him to get used to staying in the darkness. Where all he had was himself. Alone. Error dropped his gaze to the ground, his shoulders slumping and some tears streaming down his cheeks. Ink watched the other, pity glowing brightly in his pupils. Ink was free to wander around all around the light world! Error however... he only was able to wander in the darkness. As a shadow.

Ink finally rasped out loud to the other, "we will find a way out of this..." Error quickly looked up at the other. His gaze soft, and full of sadness. He stood up, wincing but controlling it. Error sighed, "I thought you hated me?" Inks gaze wavered. He pulled his fingers into the palm of his hands, creating a fist. And he held it there tightly, "we may not like one another, but. We seem to have a similar problem, don't you think?" Hope welled in the painters chest. If Error agreed, he may help him.

Error growled lowly, it didn't last long. He soon began coughing. It subsided after a few minutes. Every breath he takes in, it has a wheezy noise to it. Ink felt utterly useless, seeing the other suffer more than him. Error looked dead straight at the painter "what do you mean by 'similar problem'?" His gaze was looking more puzzled than usual. Ink chuckled softly, and looked back at the other. His pupils more pinned back. "You see how whenever we both try entering, the light or dark. We get hurt in some way, for me. It is as if someone poured lava on me." The painter explained.

Error nodded slowly as if he was slowly understanding what the other said. Then spoke raspy as if he swallowed a frog, "fair enough. I shall help.."

Lightness and Darkness may have their differences. However. In the end they are alike and many different ways.

A wide bright smile appeared on the painters face. Error looked at him, with a puzzled expression. Ink let out a squeal of delight. The other skeleton rolled his eyes and stifled a growl. Inks excitement rose to a high level. His expression turns blank, his pupils disappearing. Error noticed this and quickly stood up, and staggered dashing away. He stood a distance away. But not to far, so the other can see him. Ink threw up a blank ink substance. Its splattered everywhere. However not that far to where Error was standing.

Error growled lowly, "if we are to fix this problem. You must control that." Ink chuckled nervously and looked at the Error, Error was walking back to the edge of the darkness. Or the beginning of the light for him. Ink moved his skeletal hand to his chin, gently tapping it against his chin. Error sat down, watching the painter gaze off into complete nothing. Then the painter straightened his spinal column. Causing him to straighten. And stand tall.

Ink spoke his idea aloud for the other to hear it, "How about we understand, how one another feel when walking into the others world!" Ink looked hopefully at Error. The black skeleton seemed to be lost in thought, he looked up at the painter. Then rasply spoke, "sounds as if it will aid us later on." Ink nodded, as he watched the other stand up. Ink inhaled sharply, then exhaled. "I shall go first!" the painter decided before Error could say anything else.

Error seemed to look more lively then before. His expression shone with hope. Ink smiled, and walked up. And around his ink substance that he threw up, to the edge. Or beginning of the darkness. Ink took one last breath in. Error stepped back, watching. Lifting a leg the painter stepped forward and pushed his whole body into the darkness. Lava felt as if it was being poured on him, but he stood his ground for the other to examine things. Such as if his body had been shaking or not.

Finally after a whole minute Ink hopped out, yelping in pain as his whole body burned from standing in the darkness. Error let out an amused chuckle, then shut his mouth when Ink glared at him. "Your turn Glitchy" Ink cooed teasingly. Error growled and stepped into the light, standing full body in it. Ink examining him closely, Errors layer of bone seemed to burn off. After around 30 seconds Error gave in and hopped back into the darkness yelping loudly.

Lightness and Darkness almost have the same affects. Just shown in different ways. Maybe even in similar ways
