Deslin was your..average kid. The only thing that kept him back was his illness. At a young age he had been diagnosed with scizophrenia and severe depression. Although his depression was minor, his imagination wasn't the same case. He had been given medication to prevent anything to get worse, and to his surprise nothing had gone wrong. Well, that's what everyone thought. Deslin wasn't an only child, he had a brother, a big brother by the name of Reggie. He looked after Deslin after losing their parents in a car accident. Deslin witnessed everything, which only made his illness worse. The young boy had a friend, one that only he could see. He named his friend Karma, oblivious of what the word went as he was only 6 at the time. His imaginary friend looked exactly like him, just a lighter colour and with baby blue eyes. Reggie had noticed that Deslin would often talk to himself at the most random of times. It got to the point where he ignored it after a while, believing the medication would do it's job in the long run. Years past, highschool came. His depression grew worse. He had been bullied not because of his insecurities, not because of his illness, but because he lost his parents, making him have serious mommy/daddy issues. The bullying wasn't as bad as most cases, it varied from time to time. Sometimes the bullying would be minor, him being able to ignore. Sometimes the bullying would be hard enough to make him draw lines on his wrists like a pen and paper.
