"Baby? I'm home."

The house was empty. Kinda weird, as he said that he'd stay in so that we could spend some time together. I checked our bedroom thinking he may be resting there. I wanted us to talk about what happened earlier today. I didn't text him, I always liked talking in person when I felt something's off. Was he upset about work or anything? Yesterday he seemed fine, just a little bit tired. I gave him a soft massage and we cuddled. We fell asleep like that. I loved being in his arms. One of the comfiest places.

Apparently he was out. I put on my pyjamas and chilled on the couch.

I couldn't focus though cause I knew he was upset. I had to reach out even if he didn't.

Tae was the first person to ask. His best friend. Our best friend.

I met him through Jungkook, immediately loving his personality and amazing style. He was a really fun person to have around and I was happy that Kookie had him in his life. Such a good and caring friend.

I opened my phone to text him.

"Hey Tae!"

"Hey! How have you been? It's been ages."

"I'm okay I guess...How about you?"

"I'm great. Did something happen?"

"It's just that we haven't talked with Jungkook all day long and I didn't find him home. So I was wondering if you know anything about that."

"That's weird. When I texted him yesterday, inviting both of you guys over to my party, he told me you wouldn't show, because he wanted to spend some more time with you. However, today he told me that he is gonna come instead, except that you won't cause you're busy."

So he actually left without saying a word. Even when we were both invited.

I wasn't sure whether I was more pissed or disappointed.

But I was sure as hell that I was attending whether he liked it or not.

As I can see, he didn't want me there and rather than talking about it he went alone.

That's exactly what I'm going to do too.

I did my makeup and put on his favorite dress of mine. The black tight one. Along with my black leather jacket and pumps. I was saving this look for our next date but the circumstance was different now.
