Chapter 3

"What's your name. And how old are you?" he questioned

"My names Amber and I just turned 16 today." I replied

He wrapped me into a hug.

"Happy birthday, gorgeous. I'll sing to you later" he whispered in my ear and gave me a long kiss on the cheek

I blushed like crazy. The fact that all of this is happening to me is mind blowing!

We kept talking for awhile and I took pictures and asked him if we could look like a couple in them until the security guard told me to keep going because there were more people after me.

I was about to walk away when I felt someone slightly yank my arm back. It was Shawn.

"Uh..here's my number in case you want to talk or hang out maybe...?" he said sounding more of a question

He wrote his number on my arm and gave me one last kiss on the cheek which the security guard said not to do.

Why me..?

Why would he pick a girl who has scars from her past and who has absolutely zero friends?

I guess he doesn't care about that stuff.. Which is another reason why I love him so much.

After the meet and greet part we all gathered back by the stage. They talked about funny things and made vines. Then Mahogany walked up to Shawn and whispered something into his ear.

Shawn then came back with an extra chair by him and his guitar.

He sang his other songs that I also sang along to as well did the rest of the crowd.

He finished his last song and we all thought he was done. Claps echoed the room. When he quieted everyone else down.

"There is one last thing I need to do, I have to sing to an amazing girl who happens to have her birthday today. Her name is Amber, come up here beautiful." he stated looking into the crowd to find me

My heart skipped beats. My breathing quickened. My hands were all sweaty as to my head.

I told the security that, that was me.

I started my way up the stage stairs and went to go sit on the chair.

All the boys came up to me,hugged me, and wished me a happy birthday.

As I sat on the chair I looked into Shawn's big beautiful brown eyes. As he started to open his mouth.

"This one goes to you." he said kissing my cheek

I could hear the crowd full of "aw's" , "happy birthday's" and "booing". Yes booing, because he wanted to sing to me on my birthday.

He started to sing and he faced his body towards me, looking into my eyes the whole time.

"We don't have to be ordinary, make your best mistakes...We don't the time to be sorry.. Baby be the life of the party!"

I looked at the ground shyly. Shawn lifted up my chin to meet my eyes with his. He looked at my lips and then back at my eyes. He smiled and kept singing.

"I'm telling you to take your shot it might be scary... Hearts are gonna break.. We don't have the time to be sorry.. So baby be the life of the party! Happy birthday Amber." He finished

Dang this boy knows how to charm a girl!

"Thanks you so much!" I squealed and wrapped my arms around his neck

"You can hang out with us after this if you want..?" He whispered

I nodded my head and then the security escorted me back to my spot in the crowd.

I could not contain my excitement. A bunch of fans surrounded me and called me "lucky". But another fan came up to me and told me "You are ugly, I don't know why he did all of that for you. You don't deserve it."

I looked her in the eye and said " I don't care what your opinion about me is. You don't even know me so your opinion is irrelevant. Go complain to someone else. Mkay Bye!" I face smiled and she rolled her eyes and walked away.

I used to let those things get to me but I learned to deal with it and stand up for myself. I used to cut my arms with a silver razor until one day I decided I am better than that and I can't let them get to me.
