To say Roman was a little worried would be an understatement. Virgil hadn't even wanted to come to this party but he did for Roman. Now Roman couldn't find him anywhere and it was loud and full of people, two things Virgil doesn't deal with very well. Why did he think bringing his overly anxious boyfriend to a party like this would be a good idea?

Roman swore he checked every room in the house three times but he still hadn't found him yet. He pulled his phone out and checked for any new messages. There weren't any nor any missed calls. It was as if his boyfriend had dropped off the face of the Earth. He clicked the call button and pressed his phone to his ear. It rang seven times before going to voicemail, just like every other time he had tried.

What if he left? He thought, No, he would have let me know if he had and that still doesn't explain why he isn't answering... Roman groaned in frustration.

"Hey Roman! Isn't this a great party?" Roman heard someone say. He turned towards the voice to see Remy, a guy from his theatre class.

"Hi Remy," he said tiredly.

Remy noticed Romans bad mood. "What's wrong man?" He asked.

"I brought Virgil here with me and now I can't find him. I'm really worried because he doesn't deal well with these kinds of things. Plus he didn't even want to come but I convinced him too. If something bad happened to him it would be all my fault," Roman replied with a sigh, "It doesn't help that he hasn't answered any of my texts or calls."

Remy frowned. "Well, I don't know if he'd be there or not," Remy started, "but there's this secret basement floor that people go to when they don't want to be found or bothered. It's normally used by couples who want to hook up but he might have found his way down there and stayed there because it's quieter and less crowded."

Roman looked at Remy with newfound energy. "Oh my gosh, maybe that's what happened! Remy, can you please take me to this secret basement?!" Roman pleaded.

"Of course, just follow me," Remy said. He then proceeded to lead Roman through the house and outside to the back of the house. He then brought Roman to a door that you wouldn't notice unless you knew what you were looking for.

Roman thanked Remy and opened the door. On the other side was a small set of stairs leading under the house's main floor. When he reached the bottom he was met with a decently sized room that had a hallway branching out from each side. Down each hall were rooms upon rooms, some with open doors indicating that they weren't in use.

Roman started walking down the hallways looking in all the rooms whose doors were open. His search had been pretty fruitless until he came upon a door that was only slightly open. You could easily tell the room was occupied. Whoever had come in must have been in a hurry and not noticed that the door hadn't closed all the way. Roman nudged the door open enough that he could see into the room but not alert it's occupants and was shocked by what he saw.

Against the wall opposite the door was a large bed. Laying on top of that bed was Virgil with a boy on top of him, feeling him up. Roman recognized the boy from his math class, his name was Dolus. Remy's words ran through his mind, 'It's normally used by couples who want to hook up'.

I can't believe Virgil would cheat on me like this! Roman thought, betrayal boiled up within him as he observed the sight.

He turned to walk away and go home, not in the mood to be at a party anymore. He was stopped, however, when he caught a glimpse of Virgil's face. Virgil looked terrified and disgusted and like he would rather be anywhere else than where he was. It was clear he did not like what was happening. Roman gasped and Virgil's head snapped towards the door. His eyes caught Roman's and his whole expression shifted to scream 'HELP ME'. Roman took that opportunity to make his presence known to the rooms other occupant.

"What the FUCK do you think you're doing to my BOYFRIEND?!?!" Roman exclaimed as he flung the door open. Dolus threw himself off of Virgil and backed away from him.

"R-Roman! I didn't know he was yo-" Dolus started to say.

"Save it," Roman cut him off before he punched him in the face and successfully knocked him out. He then turned to Virgil. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Y-Yeah, thanks," Virgil replied, still looking shaken up.

Roman walked over and wrapped Virgil up in his arms. "What do you say we get out of here?" he asked, as he smiled at his boyfriend.

"I would like that," Virgil said as he smiled back.

They gathered their stuff and headed home. Virgil swore that he was never going to another party again and Roman laughed as he swore he would never drag Virgil along to another party again. But lo and behold, they were at another party the next week. This time, however, Roman didn't let Virgil out of his sight.
