18 months later

It was a great Summer day in Miami. The white linens of the tablecloths covered all the round ten-seat tables around the dancefloor. Beautiful pastel pink and yellow flowers made most of the decoration, our loved ones had drinks and talked and enjoyed the beautiful day.

"Momma!"

I smiled at my daughter from the full-length mirror, as my mother-in-law helped me put the veil on.

"Momma is finishing dressing up." Angela smiled at her granddaughter "Oh... you look so beautiful, darling! He's going to pass out when he sees you!"

"He's such a sucker, isn't he?" Eva chuckled, as she passed me the bouquet "I'm so happy for you!"

"How're you feeling?" I smiled, as I caressed her big belly.

"Tired!" She grinned, excited regardless of how pregnant she was and how hot she had to be – I had been there myself, I knew the drill "Can't wait to have this baby boy out to love him more than anything!"

I saw my daughter running around with her grandmother and laughing, and my heart swelled. Her long dark hair and beautiful grey eyes made my heart melt and my eyes sting with tears. I couldn't believe this was my family, these amazing people loved me and wasn't that just wonderful?

"You do know our children need to be best friends" I winked at her.

"I think they'll even be sweethearts. If I were a lesbian, I would've have tapped you." My best friend shrugged, and I had to laugh "Ok, Mrs. Managing Director Marshall... ready to make it official?"

My dad knocked on the door and quickly came in. His smiling face fell as he saw me in the fitting wedding dress, and he grabbed a handkerchief from his black tuxedo and cleaned a few tears off his blue eyes.

"You look beautiful, honey" He smiled, coming to kiss my cheek.

"Is everything ready to go?" Angela asked him, kissing his cheek.

"All ready. Are you?" Dad winked, as he picked my daughter up.

"I've been ready for almost two years" I smiled, kissing my daughter's nose and she giggled.

Daddy grabbed my hand and we walked down the aisle together. Eva helped my daughter with the flowers and rings – she looked so cute in her pastel yellow dress. When they reached the front, Julie reached for her daddy – he looked so hot in a tuxedo... -, and Jordan was more than happy to hold her. Dad walked me down the aisle, and I felt my heart beat faster.

Time was limited here on Earth, there were only so many days I had left with that amazing man and our family. I saw the tattoo crew sitting in the front, all cleaning tears from under their eyes – including my favourite, Rocco. My husband-to-be was holding our daughter in his arms when I arrived. Dad gave me a kiss, taking the veil from my face, and he grabbed Julie, going to sit next to Angela.

"You look beautiful," My husband smiled.

"You don't look too bad yourself" I winked; he grabbed my hand and we faced the priest.

We kissed at sunset, and it was perfect, having all those people there to celebrate us. I had everything I could ever ask for in my life, and I couldn't believe I almost rejected all of this because of my stupid pride and fear of being hurt. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith, and Jordan was there to catch me – thank God he was there...!

"Everything looks beautiful, Mrs. Marshall," Jordan smiled as we had our first dance as husband and wife.

"You are most welcome, Mr. Marshall." I grinned "You're loving this, aren't you?"

"You know it!" He winked and smiled as our girl came to tuck at her dad's pants "She wants to join us."

I reached down and Julie was delighted; she grabbed my hair and I winced – she was having a phase but I couldn't bare being annoyed at her tonight. Jordan held us both in his arms as we danced slowly around the white dance floor.

"Nothing could make this even more perfect." He assured me "I have the two girls I love the most in the world in my arms."

"Don't let your mom hear you," I grinned.

"Daddy, star!" Julie reached to the sky and Jordan kissed her tiny hand.

"Are you sure this couldn't be any more perfect?" I teased him with a tilt of my brow.

"Not right now. But later, I want to know what you're wearing under this very fitting dress. I love your ass in this, by the way," He chuckled.

"Daddy said ass!" Julie laughed, and I blushed red; like father like daughter, I guess...

"You know... I have a secret for you" I wiggled my brows and he tilted his head, curious.

"Come on then." He shrugged, with a side smile "If it's that Mike is asking Eva to marry him, I already know it."

"He is?!" I shrieked.

"You didn't know." He winced "Yeah, damn... Can you keep a secret?"

"Promise!" I grinned, and saw my best friend kissing the father of her baby boy "Aw, I'm so happy for them!"

"So, not Mike's secret... So what is it?" He tilted a brow.

I smiled and kissed his lips, then my daughter's cheek.

"What do you think about giving Julie a baby brother or sister?" I asked.

"You know I want that more than anything." He smiled, tucking us both to his chest, and I felt his hand caress my ass "Name the day, and I'll be there."

"Well..." I smiled sweetly "What if I tell you that... it's only seven months away?"

His grey eyes widened and he stopped dancing for a few seconds.

"Are you serious?" He whispered, to which I nodded.

He tossed his head back and laughed. I smiled and sighed as he closed his arms tight around myself and Julie. Our baby girl kissed his cheek and played with his beard as he kissed me hard.

"I love you, baby..." He whispered.

"Love you more" I assured him.

"Not possible. Ok, should I buy the adult diapers?" He teased, and it was my turn to laugh.

He kissed me again, with our daughter in our arms, our second child on the way, our entire family and friends around us, and a bright future ahead. What more could a girl ask for?
