"Alright, what's it this time?" Luna eyed the taller blonde in front of her and smirked.

She came to the small electronics store Luna worked at more and more often lately, not that she would mind. It was the exact opposite actually. But she did wonder how she managed to break a perfectly fine and brand new phone in the matter of a day. Twice.

The girl nervously laughed "Ah you see I broke my phone-"

"Again." Luna interrupted sounding as cocky as ever.

"Yes and I was wondering if you could- uh- you know, fix it-"

"Again."

"Yeah uh- can you?"

Luna sighed and gave a warm smile.

"Of course I can!"

The girl named Sam handed her the phone. Luna took a close look at it, but noticed it seemed to be just fine.

"So what's the problem?" She asked, unable to identify the issue.

Sam grinned awkwardly. "It's acting up, it won't charge or turn on."

"Oh! Then you just need to change the battery dude! They're over in that part." Luna pointed at where she needed to go but Sam didn't move a muscle. She seemed lost in her thoughts.

"Uh, Sam?"

"Hmm?" Sam blinked and looked at her bewildered.

"You need to change the battery."

"Can you do it?"

"I mean... sure. But that's not-"

"Great, thanks!" Sam beamed at her.

Luna let herself flop on her chair behind the desk in defeat. She looked up at Sam before continuing. The blonde was smiling like an idiot and Luna could almost bet that she was blushing too for some reason.

She carefully peeled away to the back of the phone and was taken aback when she noticed a small piece of paper fell out of it.

Being the curious gal she was she picked it up.

It was a small note with the words "Will you go out with me?" written on it.

Luna felt her cheeks grow hot.

"In hindsight, it would have been more effective to write it directly on the battery, but I didn't know if you'd try to turn it on so I settled for a note." Sam replied blushing while she watched Luna become redder and redder as she was shrinking into her chair.

"So uh-"

"Y- yes!" Luna squeaked.

"Oh sweet! You get off of work at 6 right?"

Luna nodded.

"Great! I'll come pick you up right after! There's this really cool restaurant I wanted to take you!" Sam was smiling widely as she jogged out the door. "I'll see you later! I'll text you the details!"

Luna sat there dumbfounded for a minute. She turned the note around, Sam's number was scribbled on the other side. She blushed a bright red.

Then she jumped up as she realized she was still holding Sam's phone.

"Sam wait!" Luna started running out of the double doors. "You forgot your phone!" Sam already vanished.

Luna facepalmed and walked back to the store. "She'll notice eventually." She thought. "I'll give it back later."

Luna smiled. 'Later' couldn't come soon enough.
