Tsukuyomi- naruto fanfiction

Part 1 - Genjutsu

After a long day of missions Naruto and Sakura went home hoping to have a rest. While Naruto was dropping off Sakura at her house, Sakura had a fight with her mom and dad.

She slammed the front door, grabbed Naruto's hand and headed towards the park. Naruto then asked her, "So is this like a date or something?" But Sakura wasn't in the mood she replied,"Shut Up!" and kept on heading towards the park. Naruto gulped and didn't say a word.

Once they reached the park,they went on the swings and Sakura started nagging about her parents, of how annoying and humiliating they are.

"You know Naruto they always make fun of me in front of others and treat me like a child, you'r pretty lucky you don't have parents". But that really triggered Naruto and he shouted, "Sakura you don't know it feels, every day being lonely no one is waiting for me at home, you are lucky enough to have parents. I would have done anything just to see them once, just once."

Sakura started to feel sad and sorry for saying what she had said before. she apologised to Naruto and thought about Sasuke, how he must have felt to lose his entire family and clan and got devoured by vengeance.

After a while, out of nowhere appeared the masked man known as 'Madara Uchiha'.

Naruto, surprised of seeing him asked, "What are you doing here!", but the masked man didn't respond back.

Naruto made a couple of clones and made the 'rasangan' but when he tried to hit Madara his jutsu and him went right through Madara.

Suddenly, Madara activated his Mangekyou Sharingan and right when Naruto and Sakura looked at his eyes they were already in his genjutsu, the tsukuyomi.

after that the masked man dissapeared and without even noticing Naruto and Sakura were in a genjutsu. But the genjutsu was the strongest one ever known, the 'tsukuyomi'.

Naruto and Sakura then ran straight away towards the Hokage's office. On there way, they encountered Kiba, Hinata and Shino.

Naruto quickly alerted them about Madara the masked man, but none of them quite knew what they were talking about.

Kiba asked, "Is that some new type of ramen, Naruto?"

Naruto got puzzled and said, "what are you talking about, don't you remember, he took Sasuke with him!"

Shino then replied, "But Sasuke is in the village, we just went past them".

"By the way what are you and Sakura doing out here in the dark, are you both on a date!?", asked Hinata angrily. Sakura replied, "No,no were not on a date!".

Hinata then whispered in Sakura's ear and said, "You beter not be going out with Naruto or else i will kill you!"

Naruto and Sakura were hell confused about what is going on, so ran to the village.

On the way to the village, they were chatting about how weird everyone was acting and that how Hinata was not shy at all.

In the village they saw Sasuke but they couldn't believe thier eyes.

Sakura went up to him, hugged him and asked when he had returned to the village, but Sasuke said that he had always been in the village.

Then Naruto pointed out tho the Hokage stone faces and noticed that the fourth Hokage's face wasn't there anymore and Sakura's father's face is carved as the Fourth Hokage. He told Sakura and then Sakura came to a conclusion that they were in a genjutsu placed by Madra.

Naruto then said,"So that's why Sasuke is here and the entire village is weird and also that, that is why Sakura's father is the fourth Hokage...Which means my parents aren't dead.

And so, like that Naruto cried out tears of joy and ran as fast as he could to his apartment. However, when he reached the apartment, since he was in a genjutsu, it wasn't his anymore.

So he asked the old lady that lived there now where 'Minato Namikaze' lives."That ninja? He lives round the corner, second house.", replied the old lady. Naruto thanked here and headed right there.

Naruto rang the doorbell and went in saying:"I'm home!" and when he saw his parents he went straight in to there arms and said, "Hi mom, hi dad", while crying.Minato and kushina were surprised he said that but went along with it.

"Okay I will go and make dinner, could you help me Minato?, asked Kushina.

While Naruto's parents were making dinner Naruto sat in the lounge, looking at pictures of him of when he was a child.

Sakura head back to the village to talk to Sasuke. She was so happy about what was happening she didn't even think about her dead parents.

At the village, everybody would talk to Sakura with more respect and saying of how brave her father was.

Sakura liked it when people bragged about her so she smiled at everyone. When she met Sasuke she asked if he was okay with his older brother. But Sasuke replied, "You mean my younger brother, Joghan".Sakura said yes as she remembered she was in a genjutsu.

Before heading home, Sakura asked Sasuke if he wanted to go out and eat dinner together. But Sasuke said,"Sorry, I can't, I am already going out for dinner with Ino".

Sakura bought some food from a shop and went home in despair. She had no idea that this genjutsu world would be so bad.

When sakura went past Naruto's house, she finally realised how important family is. When she reached home she ate her dinner and went to sleep hoping it was all a dream.

At Naruto's house, he and his parents were celebrating Minato's 33rd birthday. Naruto hadn't ever so much fun. But he wished if only this was real.

Naruto and his parents then had a food fight and ate a lot of cake.

Before sleeping, Naruto thought about how things were going for Sakura. He also wondered what was happening in the real village of Konoha right now and when this Genjuttsu will end.
