When the 1937 film was released.. It was a huge hit! And i'm pretty sure we're all familiar with this story, if not..
It's about Snow White living with her jealous stepmother to the point where she orders her huntsman to kill the princess. The huntsman, unable to bring himself to kill Snow White, let's her free in the forest.
Then, later on, found the seven dwarfs. When the Evil Queen found out that Snow White was still alive, she's possesses an old lady to give Snow White a poisonous apple.
When she takes a bite she was expected to die, and lay motionless. Until the Prince finds her and kisses her, bringing her back to life and live happily ever after.

HOWEVER, the original story has a brutal/gory ending.. yikes! but for me, i'm kinda into that stuff. The original story was written by the Brothers Grimm in 1812 (first published in german)
The original story is very similar to the disney film, except, when Snow White gets poisoned by the apple, the Prince does not kiss her and bring her back to life.
Instead, he takes the casket she's lying in, trips over a branch in the forest, causing him to drop Snow White forcing the apple out of position from her throat, and comes back to life.
They then arrange a massive wedding, inviting every king and queen in the land. The Evil Queen accepts the invitation, not knowing it's her stepdaughter's wedding.
When she arrives, she was made to wear a pair of shoes that are glowing red hot and is forced to dance until she drops dead 💀
