I shook vigorously as I read the message,
Neve: You're fucking insane. Never talk to me again. Don't talk to my family, don't talk to my friends, don't ask anyone how I am. Disappear.
I didn't know what to feel, I stared at the screen for what felt like years. I thought of what to say. I felt a warmth on my cheek. One single tear crept down my face. Without realizing it I'd started crying. I put my phone down gently. I slowly laid down on my side, and I cried. I cried for an entire minute before sitting back up, grabbing my phone, and launching it across the room.
"Fuck man! Fuck. Fucking fuck." At this moment I could only formulate that one word.
I gathered myself and walked across the room. I picked my phone up again. It had minor cracks in it, nothing serious thanks to my good case. I unlocked it and opened up my messages with Neve. What the hell do I say? Do I even respond? Do I beg for her forgiveness? Should I call her? A million responses raced through my head. I decided to respond with something I'd never responded with before.
Terin: Okay.
You must be confused. You must be thinking "Well what's happened? Why is Neve so angry? What makes Terin insane? What's going on here?" And to answer those questions, I guess I'll have to start from the beginning. The very beginning. The day I met Neve.
