Being the new student isn't as fun as many would suspect. Especially if you were a student from a different country. France to be exact. Japan was a beautiful place filled with vibrant colors and beautiful temples and shrines. But I felt out of place I was a lonely flower in a field of nothing but grass I didn't move to Japan by choice. No I was practically forced to move here at first I only thought my family and I were only here for a little vacation. But once my mother announced that we were to Live in Japan. I wasn't pleased. All my life I have lived in Paris and now I had too learn a new language and adjust to a new culture. I've been in Japan for only a week I will admit that it's is not as bad as I made it out to be but it was difficult. Especially at school it was a good school or so I was told but some of the faculty and staff seemed...off I can't explain it.
As I was thinking to myself my mother parked the car and called out to me "darling we're here have a lovely day at school" my mother spoke with care. I nodded "of course" I said as I exited the car and made my way towards the school entrance. I sighed and entered the building a week in this school and I have yet to make any friends. Sure some students were kind to me and try to conversate with me but I didn't consider any of them close friends. Well perhaps the only person I could consider a Friend or at least an acquaintance was the student council president makoto Niijima. We both seemed to get along well and I even help her with student council work.
As I entered the classroom I noticed that like always I was the first to arrive which is something I like since it gives me alone time to become lost in my thoughts just to have peace and quiet. Once I sat down I took out one a book that I had recently checked out from the library. It was about a pirate who was called Captain Kidd. The story interested me so I decided I can give the book a shot to read. After a couple of moments of silence students started to enter the classroom. Then class started to begin.
About a few minutes into the class lecture the classroom door slid open and a student enter the class "again Sakamoto? Why do you even bother showing up to class if your going to be late??....just take your seat" the teacher said with irritation. The blond boy looked annoyed as he made his way towards his seat which was behind me. I honestly don't know why the other students think so bad of him
I haven't had the privilege to talk to him but he does sometimes helps me whenever I drop stuff from when I get clumsy or if I've forgotten something and he'd return it to me if anything he seemed extremely kind. After the disruption the teacher continued their lesson. And throughout the lesson the teacher asked multiple questions for us to answer but the only person that answered their questions were me. And Everytime I'd answer I heard the other students whispering.
"Of course she'd know"
"She's such a teacher's pet"
It was something I was used to in my short time at this school. As I was lost in my mind a voice from behind me brought me out of my stupor. "Don't listen to em' they're just jealous" Ryuji whispered in a low voice so the surrounding students don't hear. It's was probably the first time I actually heard ryuji spoke a full sentence to me I've heard him speak before but the responses were always short. I turn to ryuji and gave him a smile "thank you" I said to him and then returned to listening to the teacher.
Third P.O.V
Once the French girl turned her attention back to the teacher. Ryuji's face turned red as he replayed her smile in his head.
And that was how the start of a beautiful love story began
