Lily POV
Music boomed in the room, the lights were bright in the dark, and K.K Slider was working his DJ magic. Or perhaps I should say DJ K.K was working his magic.
I haven't visited this place for a while since I finished my joke book.
I'm not the party type, more of the public's work project ceremony-type-person.
Partying and raving with music is thrilling than the calm breeze or chirping of birds. It felt exhilarating to be on the dance floor and letting my body loose.
It was Monday night at Club LOL. Anna, Tom, Joe and I were jamming to DJ K.K's tunes.
I say, we I all looked fine that day. We've been the best versions of ourselves since we hung out together as a quartet. We learned a great deal from one another.
Anna had suggested this outing and told us to dress up. Who could say no to the most lively hostess and welcoming resident in the town?
My hair was curled and I dressed in the ballet dress. I figured we'd be dancing; So I chose a fit that best suited the occasion. I wore ballet slippers and stockings to match.
My pastel pink colors were elegant, I've always favored the color as it contrasts my minty green hair color.
We decided not to meet up, arriving individually to the party at whatever time fit best for us.
I had to run my errands earlier so that I'd have time to prepare my outfit. When I arrived late, I saw the three talking to the ex-villagers who were also there at the party.
I was not prepared to be blown away by the sight. The disco lights and dark lighting made the entrance so grand. Nightlight gleamed from the open door that I was still standing in front of. I stood there longer than intended, grasping the beautiful scene ahead of me.
    The others were dazzling.
Anna wore a the hair bow wig, the ribbon styled hair struck me by surprise, it matches her so well! Her bangs are always kept neat too. I appreciate the effort she puts in her appearance.
She wore pink eyeshadow, a garden tank paired with a formal black skirt, and black steel-toed boots. Anna looked like a pop star. If you stood in her presence, you'd feel as if you're next to someone famous, bold and inspiring. Anna provided the "oomph" Serenity needed; Gracie would've agreed.
Tom's denim vest with the pleather pants suited him well. His hair was slicked back, a few strands laid on his forehead in a dashing way; He looked so handsome. His smile with his long lashes fluttering whenever his eyes smiled always gave me butterflies.
Joe's nightsky shirt and the black denim pants matched the party scheme indeed. His bangs was parted in the middle, showing his forehead too. It's a rare sight!
He was smiling, and I could see his eyebrows. His full expression was out in the open like never before. I was breathless at the sight of him, when he caught me staring, he waved while flashing the cutest smile. I wanted to faint—
     I'm so proud of him.
They were beautiful: Anna's eyes shining from the disco lights, and Joe's sweet smile twinkling like the beautiful lights. While Tom's skin was highlighted in the purple and pink hues. What art I was appreciating at that moment.
It was such a rewarding experience.
Once I finished talking to Dr. Shrunk, the owner of the building, Tom stepped in my view to ask me a question.
"Hello m'lady!" he places his hand with his palm facing up, waiting for me to place mine on top. I place my hand and his, and the kiss he planted above my hand gave me a slight chill through my spine.
"You look great!" I shouted, excited to see him, but also because the music was overpowering.
     "Thank you, same to you!"
His eyes were glinting with some intentions that I was very aware of.
"You have something to say?" I implored directly, expecting some action to ensue. We were very close in each other's spaces now.
"Well, I was wondering if we could dance together." Tom's smirk could be seen in the dark setting, outshining the scenery. His confidence was no joke.
    "As I thought, well then—"
"May I have this dance?" He asked, extending his left hand. I was shaken by his politeness tonight l, it was a good kind of new.
His interruption cut my speech short, I forgot this place was about movement than speaking. Tom with his hand out was inviting me to this world of dance and party.
The offer was waiting for me, so I took his hand eagerly.
