link's pov

I was running through a feild on a mission for zelda. I couldn't wait for this but my horse was nowhere to be found. I didn't have time to call her so I'm just going on foot. it isn't even that far awa- oof. I opened my eyes to see who I had run into and he looked like....me. except dark and he was smirking.

"well hello, there." he said.

"hi." I said, still on top of him starting to blush. he smirked at me again. I climbed off of him.

"s-sorry..." I said brushing myself off. I looked up and he wasnt here anymore. I gasped and looked around.

"huh! where'd you go? if I hurt you I'm sorry!" I yelled.

"it didn't hurt" he said and I quickly turned around to see him. "I actually quite enjoyed it" he said winking at me. is he flirting with me?!

"i-im sorry, I have to go. I'm doing a mission for princess zelda." I explained.

"ah yes...the princess. well, can I at least have your name?" he asked me.

"oh, uhm. I'm link." I said.

"wait... you're name is link?" he asked.

"sure is!"I said.

"my name is dark link...." he said looking into my eyes. his eyes were red and his hair was black. then I realized. he looked EXACTLY like me! his hat looked like mine except black. his clothes were black. wait, if everything on him is black...he must be evil. my doppleganger. I drew my sword and he stepped back.

"woah..calm down. I'm not what people think. I'm not evil" he said.

"how can I trust you?" I said. he took my sword and dropped on the floor behind him then cupped my cheeks in his hands.

"if I was evil, would I do this" he whisperd into my ear then I felt his lips collide with mine. I knew it was wrong but...for some reason I didn't want him to stop. without thinking I gripped his hat and took it off then ran my fingers through his hair. he grabbed for mine but it had already fallen off. he moved to kiss my jawline then stopped. he looked into my eyes.

"had enough proof yet?" he smirked. I bit my lip and nodded. he chuckled.

"I don't do that kind of thing usually so... can you please not tell anyone." I polietly asked. he frowned.

"oh come on... please tell me you liked that as much as I did." he said.

"well... yea, I liked it." I said and he grabbed for his hat. he slid it on and I did the same.

"so...if I promised not to tell anyone about this. would you maybe go on a date with me?" he asked. I felt my mouth open a little.

"a d-date? like, in public?" I asked.

"I didn't say it had to be in public. if you're not ready then we'll go to the stream." he explained. I nodded.

"yea..of course. id love to. I mean...... yes, I will go on a date with you." I stutterd. he chuckled.

"great. meet me here tonight." he said then walked closer to me. "I'll be counting the moments" he whisperd in my ear and it sent a shock through my body. he kissed my cheek on more time before running the other way and dissapearing into the forrest with a red fairy following closely behind. is it possible to love someone after first meeting them? I'm crazy....its not love. is it?
