Morgan's POV
" We are getting a divorce."
I froze. The unmistakable sound of my heart slowly breaking filled the tense and silent room. How could he say it just like that. So cold and... lifeless.
" What?" I mutter
" Me and your mother are getting a divorce" My dad said as if it was nothin'.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I could at the same time. It made sense. They have been fighting for several months straight. And it didn't help that dad cheated three times while on his " Guys night out" with his friends. I guess that actually meant that it was time to get drunk and cheat on my loving wife. And I guess that mom finally had enough.
I abruptly stood up and out my chair.
" I need to go to my room". And go I did.Next Day
When they said they were getting divorced it actually meant that they already got divorced. They filed the papers behind my back, and that week when I went to Aunt Lin's, is when they went to court. Needless to say I was furious. No, not that they got divorced, I knew that was coming eventually, I'm mad that they didn't talk to me. I know a lot of adults are thinking 'it's none of your business', but you're wrong. It is my business, because I'm their
f#$@ing kid.
