I was shocked by what happened and next thing i know, i was in their house...

Nakaupo lang ako sa couch while the kid is still hugging me. It's like, he's afraid that I'll vanish in a blink of an eye. And the man.... He's sitting on a single sofa beside us.

No one dare to talk and im kinda uncomfortable because his staring at me and the kid won't let me go.

I decided to break the silence by clearing my throat.

" I...I'm sorry but--"

I stop midway of my sentence. Afraid that i would hurt their feelings, especially the kid. But i have to know what are they in my life--in my past.

The man hold my hands tightly as he gave me a smile.

" i still can't believe we've found you! " the man said. Tears are already forming on the corner of his eyes.

I sigh.

I know im gonna hurt them but i still have to ask who are they.

I looked at the kid beside me.

" ahm. Can we, can we talk privately for now? " i ask the man.

Maingat ako sa mga binibitawan kong salita. Even if i don't know who are they exactly, I have a feeling that... I still have to confirm it and i don't want to break the childs heart by asking who are they?

The man looked at the kid and motion him to come close to him.

" Haowen, can you go to your room for now? Me and Eomma are going to talk for a while" he whispered to the kid with a hint of sadness in his voice.

My eyes widened at the way he address me. I don't need to ask more questions about who are they... They are clearly my family.

Is he... Hannie's father?

The kid looked at me, with his sad eyes. This kid called Haowen is close to bursting into tears and my heart breaks for that.

" don't worry, appa won't let eomma disappear again" i heard the man whisper to haowen. Assuring him.

Haowen came close to me and gave me a tight hug before going up stairs.

After the kid disappear in our sight, i heard him sigh. I sigh that is full of exhaustion, stress, sadness, and pain.

" ho--how are you?" he asked. Randomly.

" im fine." i answered.

Huminga ako ng malalim. Im preparing myself to question him.

" I... I have something to ask" deretso kong sabi.

Pinagdikit nya ang mga palad nya habang nakatingin sakin.

"  I know , I've hurt you countless of times but you need to know the truth lu. I've done that because of us... My mom won't let us come back to you, i just used marisse para makabalik kami ng korea ni haowen. As soon as we met, i told her were over but she can't get over me and blackmailed me. " enough! " i said firmly.

So this man? This man hurt me? Now that he said it, I felt stings in my heart like knives were continuously stabbing my heart.

He was taken aback by what I've said.

" I... I'm sorry,  I didn't mean to shout at you"

I sigh.
