Before I knew it, the day that Ash left came. His flight was really early in the morning so I put Darcey to bed early the night before because we were going to say goodbye to him at the airport. Ashley was also coming to say bye to Luke and the others. We travelled in silence to the airport and no words were exchanged when we first met up with them, until Ashton broke the ice. "Hi." He took Darcey from me; who was still napping; and cuddled her.
"Hey."
"Look Sam-"
"No just don't ok?"
"No I will. Nothing is going to happen whilst I'm away ok? I'm going to be back here before you know it! As soon as I get a break from the band, I'll be back over here to spend time with you and Darcey. I won't let you down again. I promise."
"Good." I sniffed. "I'm just gonna miss you." I felt my voice break in the middle of the sentence and soon enough I was crying.
"Baby, come here."
"I'm sorry, I just...Don't want you to go." He squeezed me tighter.
"I know you don't. But I have to. I'll be back soon." I nodded and we stayed there hugging in the middle of the airport until our time was up.
~Ashton's P.O.V~
Our manager was signalling to us that it was time to go. I hated this part. Not only leaving fans and family, but now Sam and Darcey too. "Time to go." Calum said. He hated to break the moment but we all knew that we had to go. "I promise you I will see you soon ok? We'll Skype every night and morning whatever time suits you and the little one! If you ever need to talk, you can message me and I'll pick up straight away, alright? I love you Sam." Her eyes were red and puffy from where she had been crying. I handed Darcey back over to her; kissing her on the forehead; then gave Sam a long kiss before my manager was ordering me to go. "I love you."
"I love you too. Now go have fun." She sniffed. I gave her and Darcey one last smile before I walked through the doors, not being able to turn back.
~Sam's P.O.V~
As soon as Ashton and the boys left through the doors, I felt a heavy weight in my stomach. He was gone. I know not forever but I can't help but feel nervous because what if it does happen again and he forgets me for someone else? Ashley led the way as we walked back to the car and after strapping Darcey in, we waited for the plane to take off before leaving. These 5 months were going to be so strange now that they were gone.

~2 WEEKS LATER~
I had been so busy with everything over the past couple of weeks, I haven't had any time to sit down and relax! Darcey had been trying out the new nursery twice a week and she seemed to be enjoying it and making friends, along with the mum's as well! I also had to get things prepared for university which I will be starting in a couple of weeks! Also, Ashley's sister; Danielle; was getting married to her long term boyfriend and so she wanted Ashley and me to be her maid of honour and bridesmaid so we had to rush around for dresses and decide on decorations etc. Danielle had a habit of leaving things to the last minute, her wedding was at the end of next week and she still hasn't decided on dresses for the bridesmaids or herself. Fortunately, everything else had been sorted.
Today I was going shopping with Ashley to search for a wedding present for the pair of them. Darcey was at nursery today so we didn't have to worry about her. To be honest, I was glad of the break and so was Ashley. I know it's going to be hard when I'm at uni because I'll have to come home every day and pick her up then drop her off in the morning but we'll manage to fit it all in.
Once we arrived at the shopping centre, Ashley had to go and get a magazine so we headed over to WHSmith. I was scanning through the headlines on the papers when I saw something. I picked up the paper and turned to the page that Ashton was on. The headline read:
PARTY BOY ASHTON SNEAKS OUT WITH HOT BLONDE
My heart plummeted in my chest. How could he does this to me? He had been gone for 2 weeks and in that time, he had forgotten about me and our daughter and banged a 'hot blonde' instead. She wasn't even pretty! I was snapped out of my thoughts by Ashley's breath on my neck. "Sam I-."
"No. Don't. I knew it was going to happen anyway. Let's just get on with it." And so I put the paper back down and walked out the shop, not looking back.

~Ashton's P.O.V~
I was missing Sam and Darcey so much. I looked at a picture of us three almost everyday and I just couldn't get them out of my head so the boys and I decided to go on a night out to try and get me to relax a little. I think it worked but I can't remember what happened, I was so drunk but I felt better and ready to start touring.
~Sam's P.O.V~
It took absolutely ages to try and find something for Ashley's sister. She didn't ask for anything specific and we wanted to be unusual so in the end we decided on getting a big photo frame; with 6 spaces for pictures in; and put pictures in of the two of them. They had known each other since childhood because their parents were friends so we chose to do a kind of evolution of their relationship kinda thing?
I had blocked everything about Ashton out of my head and got on with finding some pictures on the computer. "Sam."
"What?"
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. Why are you asking?"
"Well that stuff on the front of that paper-"
"No. Enough. I don't care, I knew it was going to happen. He's a rockstar what do you expect?"
"Are you gonna talk to him about it?"
"I don't know. Ok? I just wanna spend time with my daughter." I grabbed my keys and slammed the door to go and pick her up from nursery.

When I came back, Darcey wanted to watch a film so I was able to finish the frame with Ashley. Whilst I was on the computer, a Skype call popped up. Ashton. I ignored it. He rang again. I didn't answer. On the 3rd time, I answered. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" His eyes widened.
"Woah babe, chill."
"I will not chill, are you having fun over there?"
"Uh yeah, only just got here but it's good I suppose."
"Forgotten about me and your daughter already have you?"
"Huh?"
"Don't you remember what you did last night?"
"No...."
"Well it's ALL over the newspapers. Did you have fun fucking that hot blonde?"
"Babe I-"
"Don't you DARE call me that! I thought we actually had a chance again Ashton but I guess I was wrong, so much for your trust. And you can take this stupid ring back." I threw it at the camera and ended the call.
"Mummy are you ok?" I nodded.
"Mummy's fine. I just need to go upstairs for a bit." I ran upstairs, slammed my door shut, fell on my bed and cried.
Why did he have to do this to me?
