A woman (Dame Leornardia) enters a stage overlooking a sea of parents and children that are attending an opening ceremony for Scientia Academy, a school for what scientists classify as Prowesses.
Principal Leornardia P.O.V.
*Adjusts microphone*
"Welcome one and all to our proud school of *she pauses in an attempt to give suspense* skilled Prowesses!"
The crowd roared with whistles and applause. Screams of delight and excitement scattered themselves across the auditorium.
Principal Leornardia P.O.V.
"I am very happy that we are now ready to open up the school again after that *her head lowers itself into a slight bow* misfortunate event that occured last year. I hope all of us can move past that and look into our bright and encouraging future! Now, please remember that all bags must be dropped off in your designated rooms before the banquet. Who's ready for a new year at Scientia Academy?!"
The crowd goes wild once more. We zoom in on a group of children making wings appear on their backs and proceed to fly upwards towards the ceiling. Others begin to shoot beams of light from their hands.
The vice principal began to make her way up to Principal Leornardia and proceeds to whisper something in her ear. The principal's face looks shocked, but only for a second, then walks off the stage along with the vice president.
TIME SKIP (1 HOUR)
We find our main character Karhai Tonickio quickly leaving the auditorium. Her white hair shone brightly under the afternoon sun. Her blazing red-orange eyes could burn through your heart and bore great contrast with her tan skin. She held two small duffle bags, a book bag, and a topload case.
Karhai
*She sighs as she puts her things near a sign that reads TRANSPORT BAGS HERE*
Karhai enters her room number (12076) and personal information into a key pad that was blended into a tree and revealed through a motion sensor. Once done entering her information, something resembling a trash shoot opens up near the roots of the tree. Karhai grabs all of her belongings, except the topload case, and put them into the shoot. She then closed the shoot and left, heading toward Park Haven, a place for relaxation in the ever-expanding boarding school that is Scientia Academy.
Karhai P.O.V.
"Damn, where can I get something to eat around here? I haven't eaten since I went on the bus."
