(i noticed it seemed like Kilo was still in highschool, no he is not. its been a year.)Kai'Jai Desean Monroe
The decision party...
Today is the day Kilo signs. He only did a year of college at Duke University and he was drafted instantly. My brother skills is really intense. Im so happy we came this far in life. I know me and Vada got our issues and our drama, but besides that my brother really making a legacy for this family. I just gotta keep him focused and make sure he dont get to conceited. Duke college is in North Carolina and Kilo wasnt even happy there because the distance but it made him a better basketball player. He basically lived with me still cause every weekend he caught a flight back to the city. He was so homesick , shit got bad. But im happy he getting the opportunity to sign with the Chicago Bulls. He wouldnt have to leave his hometown and he making good money with signing the 45 million dollar contract.
Right now me and Vada was decorating the house to make it more welcoming to all the guests. Prior to this day we had Banners, plates, posters, and etc. made that says, 'Congratulations Kilo.'
"This is sooooo cuteee baby." Vada cheered as I looked around and smiled.
"Hell yeah we did the damn thang." I laughed and I noticed guests starting to pull up.
"Well lets put on a show." Vada said, kissing my cheek and going to open the door. Kilo on the other hand, he was out getting dressed still. Yall know his ass wanna make an entrance.
First person to walk in was Dime and her 2 kids. Carter who is now 9 and Sidney who is now 7. She smiled at us as she was fully clothed, thats new. Ever since I got Vada out the stripping shit, Dime finally grew some balls and left too.
"Hey Kai'Jai, say hey yall." She said as Carter dapped me up and Sidney hugged my leg. They be around alot now that Vada takes the time to babysit. I sometimes think how life would be if the miscarriage never happened. If it was gonna be a boy or a girl. If he would look like Lawrence or Vada....
"Who all you invite Kai'Jai!! The whole damn hood pulling up!!!" Vada yelled as all the newest Chargers, Durangos, Jeeps, Hummers, Lexuses, and etc pulled up, parking on the curbs and grass. Hell yeah I invited my niggas. They helped me get Kilo where he at now, they got every right to turn up with us.
She looked out the window harder and I laughed. "Baby, calm down they aint go do nothing wild. We been waiting on this moment since I sold my first brick." I explained as our house started to load with people. Kilo and I never had family so the gang is all we have come to love. Thats our family.
Vada Jewel Jones
I walked over to Dime and the kids as everyone entered the party. Carter and Sidney call me TiTi Vay. Its soooo adorable. Me and dime bond has never gotten messy. Im glad to say that. I love her like the sister I never had. Myla? Well she got alot going on and I really dont want her around me. i feel as if she angry that I came around.
As soon as my thoughts began to get deep, I noticed Kilo walking in the house and we all cheered in joy. He was wearing a blue and black suit that formed his body as a muscular figure. He had on a fully iced chain that spelled out KILO. He wore all black Balenciagas and all white buffs with the colored frames. One fine young man, my brother really has grown up well. His hair was going in every direction with a crisp hairline. You could still see his deep cuts on his forhead but it made him look even more appealing. Ive known Kilo for about 6 or 7 years and over time he became my family. Thats my baby brother right there.
I thought to myself as I ran up to him with opening arms as I hugged him and his chin rested on my head. ¨Baby brother, im so proud.¨ i teared up.
