Unknown POV
The immutable cercumstance had halted my decision making. I hear the sirens behind us as we ran through the forest. My fear grew as the dark abyss collapsed in on me and I felt my body shut down. The last thing I saw only certified my fears. The cold black mask of an enforcer standing over my lifeless body holding a remote.
A bright light and sharp pinch the back of my neck forced me awake. The white aesthetic made me blink. Once my eyes regain focus I saw that I was standing with my arms and legs restrained. I looked up only to see a tall broad man standing with his face a foot from mine, with his hands behind his back. He looked as if he was talking but I couldn't hear him, until another sharp pain struck my neck and I flinched back at the noise.
" Will you adjust is hearing already. I still have to look for the other AI that escaped!" His vindictive deep voices carry through the room. My ears perked up as I heard a small thing of voice behind me.
" she can hear you Mr. Mahone." She sounded about 20 years old, but I didn't have time to process it because Mr. Mahone's voice grew louder pulling my attention back to him.
" Now listen here you bucket of bolts. I'm going to assert my dominance real quick. I am a human, you are a machine, a useless piece of scrap metal that is meant to do my bidding!" My eyes were moving over his face at lightning speed analyzing his expressions but also cowering in fear. " now you'll remain here until this... this programmer or can get the bug out of your system." That he quickly turned on his heels and marched out the door.
I finally turned my head to see a short girl with bright blue eyes and long auburn hair. She kept staring at the ground avoiding my eyes until she finally looked up and gasped.
"Are you ok?" I ask confused as to why she was so surprised.
"You just look so human that's all."she quickly disappeared behind me and I feel another sharp pain in my neck.
"Ouch! Is that a bad thing?" I'm still very much confused by her strange behavior but not before she ran around and looked at me with an excited or maybe shocked look on her face.
"You felt that?"I tilt my head confused. She bites her lip and quickly reaches forward pinching my arm.
"Ouch!! Why did you do that?" I yell slightly scared of what she will do next. But all she does is jump in a circle squealing.
"I can't believe it! Ahah you have sences!! You felt that." She stepped closer to me before continuing. "Everyone thought I was crazy. The calumny if the press it was all worth it for you. You have a nervous system and feeling and you understand emotions." She pauses for a moment and touches my face gently. "You can learn." She jumped back smiling and running around her lab grabbing things. I tried to keep my sensors on her but they kept going off the charts.
"You are very happy. Your heart beat is elevated to 134 beats per minute." I looked into her eyes and smiled. She giggled for a moment but then started to calm down.
" I almost forgot you're a medical android. And yes I'm very happy to finally meet you. I'm Ann." She stretches out her hand and I look at my own hands still cuffed to the stands. "Oh right, sorry." She quickly runs over to her station and pressed a sequence of buttons. First I felt my hands fall so my sides fortunately before I landed face first on the floor Ann caught my shoulders and placed me gently. "Oh I'm so so sorry. I completely forgot to enable your limbs." She runs over to her pad again and a loud click makes my head shoot up.
"I guess when they stunned you some of your programs shut down." I sat up cross cross and waited for instructions.
"Stunned? I don't remember that. Did I do something wrong? What was Mr. Mahone talking about, a bug?" I kept rambling off questions
