"I Think I Forgot Something"

It was only this early in the morning when you heard a loud knocking on your door. A groan slipped past your lips at the thought of leaving your bed but when the knocking ceased to stop, you couldn't help but force yourself up to answer. When you had finally arrived at the door and opened it, you were greeted by the face of your smiling boyfriend, Yuta, holding grocery bags in his hands. "Good morning princess!" you stepped aside and let him in and he placed the bags on the kitchen table. "Hi Yuta" you tiredly say as you meet him in the kitchen. "Aw I'm sorry, did I wake my baby up?" he pouts as wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you into his body. You rest your head on his chest as nod your head up and down. "But it's okay, I missed you and I'm happy you're here" you say and smile softly as you look up at him. You don't know it, but his heart is melting seeing you smile at him like that. "Let me freshen up really quick and I;ll be out in a second" you detach yourself from his embrace and make yourself look presentable as fast as you can before meeting him back in the kitchen again. "So! What's with all the groceries?" you ask as you sit down. "My plans for the day were to make you breakfast then we can go out for a bit, get dinner and ice cream?" You were more than ecstatic at the idea. "Sounds good!"

The breakfast preparation with Yuta did not go as he had planned. All he had to do was simply make you eggs and toast but there were problems from burning the egg to oversalting it. Most of the time was spent with you teasing him for his poor cooking skills. "Okay, change in plans. It's noon now let's go get lunch? I heard that there's this new Japanese BBQ place that's good"

"Haha, okay let's go there then". You changed into a casual outfit and were out the door in a span of fifteen minutes. The car ride to the restaurant was composed of Yuta holding your hand, rubbing small circles into it and small chit chat. "We're here! Thank goodness, I'm hungry" he complained and you laughed as you entered the place and were seated. For the next two hours, the two of you would be able to eat as much as you wanted. Various types of meat were ordered and Yuta proceeded to put them on the grill. "You know Y/N, I can't cook an egg but I assure you that this? This food right here is going to blow your mind" he confidentially says. "Oh really? Can you please explain this then mr. pro cook Nakamoto?" You picked up a burnt piece of meat and raised your eyebrow. There was embarrassment on his but he quickly recovered from it, "I guess I was just so distracted by you" he sighs, "You know it's hard to stay on task when a piece of art is sitting in front of you". Pink dusted your cheeks, his statement shut you up and you heard him silently chuckle as he placed new pieces of meat on the grill and fed you not burnt food. The next hour, cheesy statements were exchanged between you two and then you were onto your next location.

"Where to next?" you asked as the two of you buckled up in his car. "I would take you hiking but you're wearing jeans so that's not appropriate". Yuta sighed as if he was actually sad. "Instead, we're going to the beach because it'a a nice day out". You nodded in response and when you had arrived, it was already 3:15PM. About two hours remained before the sun set and the time was spent by you two splashing water at one another and Yuta insisting to take pictures of just you. "Y/N! One more picture please? You look so cute right now. I mean when are you not cute?" he questioned as he continued to take candid photos of you. The snapping of his phone camera finally ceased and he pulled you next to him showing you the screen, "See? Cute". he smiled as he set it as his home screen photo. By this time, the sun had just set and Yuta took you home.

Thirty minutes later, his car was in front of your house and he walked you to the door. "You're really going to make me go home right now Y/N?" Yuta whined as he held you in a loose embrace. "I'm sorry I have a test tomorrow, we can go out again after tomorrow passes!" you reply. "Mhm bye baby" he says and as soon as he lets you go he immediately pulls you back to him. "Oops i"m sorry I think I forgot something" he said and though you were confused, you couldn't say anything as he leaned in and gave you a sweet kiss on your lips.
