Hayleigh's P.O.V. (ooooooh something different! :3)
"So, what'd you think of that quiz Mrs. Collins gave us?" I asked my friend Chloe as we sat down at the lunch table.
"I didn't like it," responded Chloe as she put her lunch box down on the table in front of us. "She gives a lot of quizzes."
I nodded in agreement as I started to take my things out of my lunch box. Mom always packs the best things for lunch. I rolled the sleeves up on my jacket since I really don't like being too warm. The cafeteria always seems hotter than the rest of the building.
"What'd you bring?" I inquired, my facial expression becoming a tad curious.
"For some reason, my mom packed me a lot of chicken nuggets," Chloe replied with a confused look. "A lot."
A small laugh escaped my lips as I peered over into her lunch box, realizing she was right. Her mom did pack her a lot of chicken nuggets.
"Out of all things, why chicken nuggets?" I persisted while discreetly stealing one. "Don't you have other things at your house?"
Chloe clearly ignored my question as she exclaimed loudly, "You stole one!"
"You have a lot!" I retorted while holding the stolen chicken nugget. "Can I have one?"
"Fine," Chloe sighed, clearly mourning the loss of her chicken nugget. Rest in peace, Chloe.
"Thank you," I replied while practically inhaling it.
Chloe just rolled her eyes and continued with her lunch, both of us clearly enjoying it. I love having her as a friend.

Soon enough, the bell rang, alerting us that it was the end of our lunch period.
I quickly gathered my things and Chloe and I exited the lunchroom with our class. In the hallways, there are a few shelves that we put our backpacks on, along with our lunch boxes, so as we passed them, I put my lunch box right by my backpack as we got ready for class.
"I have to tell you this funny story about my brother and I," Chloe piped up as she walked next to me.
I let out a deep breath, remembering the events of last weekend, about Zach and I's fight at the mention of Chloe's brother. He told me that he wasn't my actual brother, and that completely changed the relationship between him and I.
I still consider him my older brother, and I feel bad for contributing to the reason he's upset, but he really upset me with what he said...
"What's wrong?" asked Chloe, noticing my change in mood.
"Nothing," I replied while brushing a large part of my hair behind my ears. "I'm just thinking."
"Okay," she stated as we made our way down the hall, a look of mischief on Chloe's face.
"Why are you looking at me like tha-"
I was abruptly stopped by a hard shove into the restroom. I heard the door shut behind me as I heard Chloe's distinct laugh from the other side.
"Chloe, what was that for?" I inquired, my face darkening with concern.
"Sorry," she responded apologetically. "It was a joke."
I tried to turn the doorknob, but it was locked tight. "Let me out, Chloe," I exclaimed, becoming nervous.
"Okay, just a minute," Chloe answered, and it sounded like she was about to open the door.
