Zane x Travis

Chapter 1

Zane walked into the coffee shop going up to the counter ordering his usual coffee. He waited awhile for his order and paid, finally getting his drink and sitting down at a table in the corner of the shop. The morning had been rough considering he stayed up till 4 in the morning watching My Little Horsies. His sleep deprived self started to feel a little more awake after getting his coffee.

Suddenly he heard the ding of the bell from the door being opened. Thinking nothing of it, he continued to drink his coffee until he heard a familiar ear piercing voice. "Baby brother! Goodmorning!" Of course, his annoying older brother just had to be the first familiar face he saw that morning.

Garroth had already taken a seat in front of his little brother as he smiled like an idiot, way too energetic for a Monday morning. "So baby brother what're you doing out already? You never leave your house this early, or really ever leave your house all together." Zane looked up annoyed and somewhat offended "It's only 10 am Garroth. And I just came for a coffee, it's not a big deal." He grunted and took another sip of his drink.

"Oh! Baby brother! I forgot to tell you, I have big news! Aphmau is throwing a party tomorrow night and you should totally come! She was going to tell you herself but I couldn't help spoiling it."

"And why exactly would I want to leave my house to socialize with the same people I see all the time?" Zane snarked and stood up finishing his coffee getting ready to leave.

"Because it'll be fun! And sure you may know these everyone but you don't know them.So please consider it? I'd love for you to come."

"Yeah yeah whatever. I'm not going to waste my time on some useless party, so just forget it." Zane started to walk toward the exit.

"Oh that's too bad...and Aphmau was going to make cupcakes and everything. Well I guess we'll all just have to eat the cupcakes without you." Zane stopped and jolted his head around, Garroth smirking at him.

"Ugh...Fine! But I'm only going to get some of those cupcakes then leaving right after!" Zane said as he shoved his empty coffee cup into Garroth's hands turning around waking out of the shop, hearing Garroth in the distance "Great! Can't wait to see you there baby brother~"

Zane stomped down the side walk and ran his fingers through his hair "Jeez..what did I just get myself into? This is going to be so lame, it better not be anything like the Christmas party!" He groaned making his way home.

~Time Skip~

The next day it was the afternoon and Zane has finally managed to get himself out of bed and out of his house. Zane walked down the side walk looking down at his phone as he received a text from Aphmau.

"Zane! I'm having a party tonight, can you come? There's gonna be cupcakes :)"

"Yeah yeah, I know Garroth already told me about it. I'll come over, but only for the cupcakes."

"Cool! See—" Zane got cut off reading when he ran head first into someone in front of him. He staggered back words catching his balance as he heard a grunt. He quickly looked up embarrassed "S-Sorry! I totally didn't mean to do that! Are you—" He stopped once he saw the tall white haired male figure in front of him. "Travis!!"

Travis looked down at him and smirked "Hey one eye. What's up?" Zane scowled and turned away blushing lightly to embarrassment "Why don't you watch where you're going next time?" Travis chuckled "Aren't you the one who had their eyes glued to their phone staggering down the street?"

"Oh shut up. Now what do you want?" Travis tilted his head "Are you going to Aphmau's party tonight?" Zane nodded "I'm only going for the food. What's it to you?"

"I was just curious because you aren't the type to socialize often and I was hoping to catch you at the party. You're cute, you should go out more often so I can see you."

Zane blushes intensely thinking to himself 'What the hell?? Why is this guy suddenly making a move on me!?'

"I'm not leaving my comfortable home to see your ugly face, so don't expect to see me anymore than you already do." Zane grunted and looked down at the ground starting to walk past Travis "Now if you'll excuse me, I have things to do."

Travis quickly acted without thinking and grabbed Zane's arm "Wait! If you have the time Zane..do you think you could let me buy you a coffee?"

Zane stopped and turned looking up at Travis "What..?"
