-1 Day Before-
We went to the park, to have a picnic. Me and her.
Luna was so beautiful, her red curls set right in place just touching her shoulders, she was smiling and giggling.
Her smile was the only thing that could make me smile on a miserable day. Her whole face brightens my world.
She carries round her oxygen tank, everywhere we go. Our fans are really supportive towards her and love her as much as I do.
Me and Luna walked hand in hand down the slope onto the fresh green grass.
I carried our picnic basket full of food down to a perfect spot of grass, Luna laid down the picnic rug and we both took a seat. I took out our sandwiches, her having a jam sandwich and me having a bacon sandwich. Then we both had some ready salted crisps and coca cola with each other's names on.
It was perfect.
Watching all the young kids play was adorable and I hope soon to have my own little child toddling round the house and having to take him/her to the local park.
"They're adorable." Luna said.
"I hope we can have our own someday." I smiled at her.
She pushed back one on her curls and looked at me and giggled.
"Me too." She said, giving me a kiss on the nose.
"Luna.." I said to her, looking at her bright blue eyes.
"Yes Niall.." She replied smiling.
I took her hand and helped her stand up. Then I took out a small black box and got down on one knee.
"Luna Brooklyn, would you do the honour of marrying me and staying with me forever and ever till the day I die?" I grinned.
Her eyes started welling up with tears as she nodded.
I opened up the box and took out the diamond encrusted ring and slipped it onto her finger.
I stood up brushed my clothes down and hugged her.
"Now you'll always be my princess, no one else's."
She kissed me passionately.
We pulled apart and I wiped the remaining tears off her face.
"I love you Niall." She whispered her voice cracking.
"I love you too Luna." I replied.
We started cleaning up the picnic then headed over to our flat. Hand in Hand.
"What about we drop this picnic basket off at the flat and we go get some champagne and come back and well you know" I suggested with a smirk on my face.
She giggled. "Anything for you" She smiled.
I pulled the flat key out of my pocket as we approached the flat door.
"I'll stay here babe. I've got some stuff to sort out", she smirked, her nose wrinkling up.
I laughed.
"Ill only be 10 minutes at the most. You'll be okay won't you", i asked concerned.
"Of course i will silly", she said tapping my nose.
Her hands were under oxygenated as she struggled for the oxygen to reach her lungs.
But that didn't stop me loving her.
"Okay. Ill be back soon my love", i said, kissing her cheek and began to walk to the shop.
I promised the boys id ring them later. When Luna was asleep. That would be the easiest option.
I pushed open the shop door as the bell rang. I smiled at the shopkeeper as i walked over to the champagne isle. I grabbed a fancy bottle, looking at the price. '£73,78'. Only the best for my princess i smiled to myself. "Special occasion", the shopkeeper asked scanning the full bottle. "Yeah. I just got engaged", I beamed.
"Well congratulations", she smiled. "Is it too that young, beautiful girl with the oxygen tank", she questioned pressing one of the buttons on the till.
I nodded. That's how people knew her.
The girl with the oxygen tank.
I handed over the money and took the bottle, leaving the shop.
I finished the walk home and let myself into the flat. "Lu", i shouted.
No reply.
"Luna", i shouted putting the bottle on the table.
Again no reply.
I began to get frantic. Should i be?
I ran into the kitchen and gasped.
Her small fragile body was laid on the floor, spread out.
I ran over to her, her pulse low,
"Babe can you hear me", i asked, worry in my voice.
No reply. No twitch. Nothing.
I put my hand in my back pocket and sipped out the phone in my back pocket.
"Hi. Ambulance please", i said down the end of the phone.
"Certainly sir. What seems to be the problem", the calm women said on the other end of the phone.
"My fiancé. She's got lung cancer and she's unconscious", i frantically shouted.
"Okay sir. Where do you live", she aske.
"12b pine woods flat. South London", I said.
"Okay sir. An ambulance is about 5 minutes away. Would you like me to stay on the phone", she asked kindly. "No its okay thanks", i said and put the phone down.
I never felt so impatient in my life.
Well this is the first chapter written by the both of us.
Hope you enjoyed it x
