Chapter 9: Metalic secrets: a "race" between Star and Cherry Red begins

A/N: This chapter is based on the episode: speed metal.

Blaze's POV:

I was flying high above in the sky's of Jasper Nevada in my Dragon form better known as my "true form" to some, when all of a sudden I look ahead and notice that Knockout is driving around.

What is he doing? I don't think he was sent out on mission someplace was he? 

Realizing that I'm still in my Dragon form I increase my altitude to prevent from being seen by Knockout or any humans that might be speeding passed. Then he begins to speed off to someplace or another.

What is he up to?  Curious, I follow him to his set destination.

Following him lead me to a place where there are many other cars. It dawned on me at that moment they are preparing to race.

Interesting. Illegal street racing, I didn't take Knockout to be the type at first, but of course knowing him he most likely wants to show off his finish. Not that I blame him. He does have a good looking paint job... so if I were him I'd be wanting to show off too, while I'm being honest here.

Landing somewhere close by but far enough not to be seen; I watch closely to the action happening down below.

While watching I notice that one of the human drivers reaches out and left a long scratch along Knockout's car door. I can sense the anger coming off him now and wow is he seething.

Knockout's POV:

I was waiting for the race to begin, noticing that the humans around me were noticing my fabulous paint job, to which I'm really proud of; when all of a sudden another vehicle stops beside me, the human inside looking over and seemingly compliments my looks.

What really brought my Energon to a boil is that he said I was ' too pretty' and ruined the paint on my left side door.... well then...

As soon as the race started I purposely slowed to make him think that he was losing me. When I knew he was confident I drove up behind him and pushed him off the side of the road, right before I left to finish the race I said; 'You scratch my paint, I scratch yours.'

With that said I drove off to finish what I had started.

Blaze's POV:

I'm following after Knockout when the race started wanting to see what he does. For a while there I see that he's slowed down letting the human that ruined his paint get in front of him...now why is he doing...

Moments later I realize that the human is confident that he's in front of Cherry Red; too confident...That was his downfall from the beginning.

Knockout then speeds up ramming his opponent startling the smaller being beside him.

What he does next however doesn't shock me any since I knew that human was going to have an unfortunate 'accident' the moment he sabotaged Cherry Red's finish.

Seeing Cherry Red push the human off the side of the road was quite amusing, reminds me of the days I would be rough housing with my brothers in a way...It would be nice to see them again someday.

When I tune back in to what was happening I heard him say " You scratch my paint, I scratch yours.."

Hm, sounds like something an old friend of mine would say.

I was out on a afternoon fly in my Dragon form when I saw that two wheeler and her human friend. Apparently he was getting out of school, and if I know anything about the schools on this planet it's the same as any other place... it's torture...always hated going.
