I marched down the stairs phone in hand.

Daddy, Harry, Louis, Mom and Gemma were all sitting at the dining room table.

"Good Morning!", Mom called after me as I walked into the kitchen.

"Mhmm.",I replied.

I walked over to the tea kettle to pour some hot water into my mug as I placed a tea bag into it.

I poured some sugar stirred it.

"Delilah?", a voice called from behind me.

I turned around to see Gemma.

"Yeah?"

"Are you OK? You seem a bit shaky this morning."

"Yeah I'm fine."

I tried not to meet her gaze.

Truth is, I was a little shaken from Zayn's last text.

He liked me?

This was just crazy.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

"Ok, fine"

Gemma stalked off and walked up the stairs.

I sighed and took a sip of my drink.

I picked up the mug and walked into the dining room.

All eyes were on me.

"Good Morning.", I exclaimed with fake enthusiasm.

I got a chorus of 'morning's back at me.

I plopped down next to Louis.

"Hiya, princess!"

"Hi, BooBear."

He nodded his head and turned his attention back to Harry's conversation.

I stared blankly at the wall.

It seemed like centuries maybe even milleniums before someone tapped my shoulder.

"Delilah, we're going out. Do you wanna come?", My mother asked concerned.

"Nah, I'm OK. I have some things to do today anyway."

"Ok"

I walked up the stairs after my family and Louis left.

I had the house all to myself!

YAY!

My phone buzzed against my thigh.

New Message From: Zayn Malik

Yes I saved his number. I mean we were going to be seeing a lot more of each other. Hopefully.

I unlocked my phone to read the message.

From Zayn:

Meet me in the forrest by my house in 10? xx Zayn

To Zayn:

Sure. :)

I tucked my phone back into my pocket.

I stopped once at my full length mirror to check my hair and outfit.

Seemed good.

I walked out the door and headed towards Zayn's house.

The forest was lighter now than at 12:30 this morning.

I walked a little farther until I saw a familar figure walk towards me.

"Hey. I didn't think you would actually show.", Zayn exclaimed once he saw me.

"Well, here I am. I've missed you."

The air between us was VERY tense.

It was awkward too. Like he was holding something back.

"Listen, Delilah, about the kiss-"

"I enjoyed it.", I mumbled under my breath cutting him off.

"I really shouldn't have done that. I take full regret for it and it shouldn't have happened. I'm sorry."

I felt my whole body go numb.

His words pierced through me like knives.

"W-What?", was all I could choke out.

" I regret the kiss. It shouldn't have happened. I'm so sorry."

I felt tears threaten to burst out of my eyes.

"F*** YOU ZAYN MALIK!"

And with that I ran back the other direction.
