It was a chilly evening in late fall.

The streetlights shone dimly over the cool misty streets.

You sighed quietly as you walked on.

It gets dark so early now...

You pulled your coat tighter around you and looked up at the dark blue sky.

Suddenly, you heard footsteps behind you. The stomps echoed through the empty streets.

Someone was running towards you and they were getting closer, fast.

Just as you started to turn around, your shoulder stung with the pain of heavy impact.

"B—ahh!" It was a mix between a Boo! and a shout.

You staggered to the side as the man who collided with you stumbled ahead from his remaining momentum.

He quickly whipped around to face you. When he saw you looking at him very confused, shock and horror poured over his expression.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so, so sorry, I thought you were someone else."

He bowed several times.

Then he suddenly looked at you seriously, and a look flashed across his eyes, passing too quick for you to catch it.

"Are you okay?" he asked, a tender look in his eyes.

You rubbed the shoulder where the guy had run into you.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Why on earth you would ever tackle a girl that hard?"

He laughed nervously. "Sorry, it was an accident, really."

You looked at him uneasily, still rubbing your shoulder.

There was an uncomfortable silence for a few moments.

"Listen, how about I make it up to you? Treat you to a coffee sometime?" He gave an awkward smile.

You considered it for a moment.

Now that you had a proper look at him, he was actually quite good looking. Smooth hair, gentle eyes, soft lips and a long, thin handsome face.

A tall, slender figure with broad shoulders covered in a fitting coat and fashionable clothes.

"But I don't even know your name yet."

"Oh my goodness, where are my manners. My name is Kim Seokjin."

He bowed slightly and offered his hand for a handshake.

You took it, and immediately noticed how big and strong it was, despite his fingers being thin and long.

"Y/N," you responded.

Seokjin smiled. "What a beautiful name."

You blushed slightly, surprised by his charming look.

"Thank you..." you murmured.

Seokjin had a small, sweet smile on his face. He stared at you, a peaceful look in his eyes.

You got nervous, and immediately averted your gaze away. Then, he spoke.

"Should we exchange numbers then?" he asked, pulling his phone out of his pocket.

"Ah, right." You fumbled to get your phone out too and exchanged phone numbers.

By then, the sky had turned from dark blue to black.
