I woke up with my head on her chest. She was already awake and playing with my hair. I felt her chest slowly raise and sink as she breathed. A perfect rhythm to wake to. I raised my head and leaned in for a kiss. She stroked my cheek gently with a kind hand. I sat up and looked at her, admirally. She was my life, my love, world. She was infinite.
She laid so angelically. The yellow rays shining through the blinds on her pale arm. I watched her small movements from next to her. She was divine. Her hair fell messily just past her shoulders. Just looking at her gave me goosebumps. Her nightgown loose on her thin body. I grinned as she looked up at me. Her beauty was absolute. It was infinite.
“What?” she asked me. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“You’re just so beautiful, darling,” I replied simply as I moved closer to her.
She smiled tiredly as she nuzzled into me. I kissed the top of her head. She took my left hand and fiddled with my fingers. I traced her shoulder with my right. Her skin was cold and soft. I looked out the window by the bed. The beach was gray and colorless from age, but it was still so beautiful. It was infinite.
She kissed my cheek as she got out of bed. I smiled at her touch. She looked so perfect as she walked away. I watched her slim legs move across the floor; there was a faint tap she made as she walked. She hesitated at the door. She turned slightly and her hair bounced. She looked at me with her kind brown eyes. With a gentle smile, her eyelashes fluttered. She stepped out the door. My love for her grew every day. My love for her wass unlimited, boundless, unending. It was infinite.
The sand was cold. We were outside, on the beach. She was looking for seashells, scanning the shore for her treasures. She would giggle as the sea leapt at her feet. The mushy sand tickled her toes. The way she laughed wrinkled her nose. The way she looked at me with curious fire in her eyes. I had never seen someone so happy and carefree. She was in a whole other world. A world she would speak of. A world without pain, without suffering. A world all of her own. Her joy was as endless charm. It was infinite.
I took out my camera, capturing every second of the magical feeling of dancing in the waves with her. Her hair was flying with the wind. She looked so lovely as her loose dress was soaked with the sea water. Her pale legs and pink knees jumped excitedly. She never stopped smiling. She loved when I took pictures of her, she was so confident. I admired that. She was so free as she danced. Free of pain, free of fear. Her freedom was endless. It was infinite.
The sky above us seemed gray, but the sun still shined down on us. I watched the horizon behind her. I watched the clouds sway in rhythm. I was mesmerised. There was gray mist and golden sunlight peeking through. It looked as if it could’ve rained any second, but it wouldn’t have mattered. I had never been more at peace before. My eyes lingered back down to the sea. The sea surrounded us. It was endless. It was infinite.
Suddenly, she grabbed my hand, causing me to drop my camera in the sand. She pulled me to the water. I shivered as I came in contact with the sea. It was cold, but not unbearable. We laughed and danced. Happy and in love. I stumbled and fell into the water. I looked up at her as she laughed and I giggled, too. I grabbed her and pulled her down with me. We laughed and hugged and hoped that moment would never end. We laid in the shallow water together. She stared at the clouds. I stared at her. We were infinite.
