They walked into the forest quietly, the fall leaves crunching beneath their feet. Josh's hand was cold in his own, something Tyler wasn't used to.
He glanced down when he felt a gentle wave of energy. Their hands blooming bright red at the contact. Josh looked up at him expectantly once they stooped in the middle of the shrubbery filled biome.

It was now or never.

"Before I start, Josh, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I'm sorry I said those damned words, I'm sorry I was the reason it rained all week."

Josh's eyes widened with surprise at his rare apology. Yet he nodded his head timidly, biting his lip as their breath fanned out in a cool cloud. Tyler bit the inside of his cheek nervously as he looked down at the blue haired man. "I didn't want to tell you, tell anyone I just-" he shook his head already feeling himself forming excuses. Here he goes.

"When I was born, my father hid us from humanity." Tyler started rather bluntly, forcing out the words before he could take them back, he removed his hands from Josh's.

Josh furrowed his eyebrows at the odd statement. "What do you mean, hid you from humanity?" He asked with a naive chuckle.

"You're human." He rolled his eyes. Tyler brought him all the way into the forest to feed him bullshit.

Tyler's face hardens, eyes growing serious. Josh's heart dropped. His thoughts spurring to life as Tyler said

"I'm not human."

Tyler studied Josh's expression. The shock, curiosity, the fear. Yet he didn't fully believe him. He held his breath, figuring Joshua was too stubborn to believe his words, so he'd have to show him.

Josh was taken off guard as he began unbuttoning his vest after shrugging off his jacket. His eyes widened as a soft white glow illuminated the forest light. Large white wings unfolded from Tyler's back. The brunette rolled his shoulders back with an extensive stretch causing the light increase. Josh winced, covering his eyes before the light faded. Josh's mouth hung open, eyes wide.

"Holy-"

"Kinda the opposite." Tyler chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck. Joshua shamelessly sized his wings, reaching out tentatively to watch his pale fingers sink into the soft feathers. Tyler smiled gently.
"We are abominations."

"We weren't even supposed to be born." Tyler studies his hands. Josh's eyes never leaving Tyler as he listened to the newly acquired information.
"My mother died giving birth to both my brother and me. She was going to have us on Earth to live a normal human life like her."

Josh's face softened.

"Our father..." Tyler trailed off, eyes going distant. "Well, he had different plans for us."
