On Artemis.
Diana's point of view.
"So, where's your brother?" I asked Loki, sitting on the other side of the room, sharpening a dagger for the hell of it.
"Midguard." He answered, looking at the space between his feet, past the cuffs that bonded his wrists. I stopped in the middle of a strike of the rock I was using to look up at him.
"Why?" I furrowed my brow.
"He made some new friends." He said before looking at me in the eyes. "They don't like me very much."
I chuckled. "Wouldn't be surprised, have you tried to kill them yet?" I mocked sarcastically. He just shrugged.
"I tried to take over their planet, if that counts." He laughed deeply, making me laugh with him.
"Ok," I said, putting my knife into my belt. "we'd better get going." He looked up at me confused.
"Where exactly are we going?" He asked, frowning at me.
"Midguard. I'm going to tell your brother." I said, smirking.
Midguard: SHIELD hellicarrier.
We teleported onto what looked like a landing deck of a ship of some sorts, receiving many strange looks from soldiers doing their work. I grabbed Loki's hand, making sure he didn't go anywhere.
"Any idea where we are?" I asked him, whilst walking through a door into a building.
"Yeah, they're not my biggest fans around here." He said, his voice wavering a bit.
"Well, you wanna direct me here?" I said, making him point down a hallway. We walked for around five minutes, Loki directing me to a room. On the side there was a clear glass window, a circular cage on the inside.
"That's what they kept me in when I was here." Loki whispered when he saw what I was looking at.
"They really don't like you, do they?" I asked but it was rhetorical. He pulled me along back towards the room.
"Thor will be through there." He said, slightly ashamed.
I pushed through the door but stopped when I caught sight of what was inside, making Loki walk into the back of me. I spotted the God of Thunder, along with a bunch of other random people, sat around a big round table. I sighed in relief when I finally found him. Pulling Loki through the door by his wrist and shoving him infront of Thor, I sighed.
"Take him back, I've had enough." I said, making Thor stand up to address us.
"Diana? What do you mean? Where was he?" Thor boomed his authoritive voice taking over.
"I found him hunting on my land." I spat bitterly, still not over the loss of the dear.
"My apologies, I had no idea he was gone." Thor said. Then, the man sitting next to Thor spoke up. He was a blonde haired blue eyed joke, wearing a skin tight red and blue suit.
"Who is this?" He asked frowning. I laughed at how idiotic it looked.
"This is Artemis, Ancient Greek God of the Hunt, Beauty and Nature." Thor introduced me to everyone. I took a look round the table. "This is Steve, Bruce, Tony, Natasha, Clint, Sam, Bucky, T'Challa, Peter, Vision, Pietro and Wanda."
"Ok, I'm not going to be able to remember names, but it doesn't matter anyway because I have to get back." I excused, waving at the group.
"Actually Dian, we need your help." Thor said seriously, making me look at him. There was a long pause before I spoke again.
"Anything, brother." I said. Thor was practically my distant cousin in relation, although when we were younger his father didn't like him interacting with me. He pulled a seat out for me to sit on, I did as suggested.
"We need a place of refuge. We have enemies that will search every part of Midgard and Asguard they can. We need a place to hide while we create a plan. Somewhere we are able to train and know there is no way they could find us." I raise a brow, waiting for him to get on with it. "What I ask of you, is a place to stay on Artemis."
I looked at the desperation on his face. "Ok, on two conditions."
"Whatever they are, I'm sure we can work something out." He said, a small smile appearing on his face.
"One, he is going back to Asguard." I pointed to Loki who stood behind me, still hand cuffed. Thor nodded but my smile turned bitter at my next words. "And if I find one of your kind hunting on my land, I will personally feed them to the wolf pack and let the empire watch."
Thor shook his head. "It won't come to that, Diana. You have my word." I smiled, then turned back to the table.
"Guess it's time to pack your bags."I said to them.
"Where are we going, Scotland?" The one with small, gruff facial hair surrounding his mouth, asked. I frowned.
"Where is this land of Scots you speak of?" I asked, puzzled.
"Scotland is where your from, right?" The red haired girl asked. I only frowned as a response. "Your accent is Scottish." She said, confused also.
"I'm from Olymia." I said.
"Well you sound Scottish." The black man said, drumming his claw like nails on the table.
I sighed. "Well, I must be off, brother. After all, I must prepare for the guests I have arriving soon." I smiled as he leaned in, hugging my torso and kissing my cheek.
"We shall be there tomorrow, Lady D." He said after I pulled away. I gave a small wave, before teleporting back home.
On Artemis.
Back in my room, I stripped out of my training gear, putting slightly more comfortable attire on. I walked out into the main house of cabins, shouting on Daffodil, my second in command.
"Yes, ma'am?" She said, arriving. She wore her training gear and her hair braided back, sword in hand still.
"We are having guests." I said, letting my hair down and running through it with my fingers. "Prepare their rooms, just a bakers dosen."
"Can I ask who is coming, ma'am?" She said, sliding her sword into its place on her belt.
"My brother has made some friends and they need refuge, there will be a feast tomorrow night where we will welcome them in our homes." I said, not looking at her once.
"As you wish."
