Ryo Takigawa/Ryuusou Red: A descendant of the fire tribe of Dragon Warriors, he is steadfast, level-headed and a a natural-born leader. He is kind, yet courageous. He has a crush on Shizuka.
Kouta Hino/Ryuusou Black: A descendant of the land tribe of Dragon Warriors. He is cute and airheaded. He cares about his teammates, but gets angered easily. He has a crush on Ayuri.
Shizuka Banjou/Ryuusou Blue: A descendant of the water tribe of Dragon Warriors. She is outspoken and extroverted. She is clumsy and can be seen as a ditz. She has a crush on Ryo.
Shougo Okuyama/Ryuusou Green: A descendant of the forest tribe of Dragon Warriors. Quiet and calm, he is a loner that prefers to do things on his own and has trouble working with others, but regardless cares about his teammates.
Ayuri Kishi/Ryuusou Orange: A descendant of the wind tribe of Dragon Warriors. A sassy and blunt young girl, she acts as the sarcastic big sister of the team. She has a confident, yet down-to-earth attitude. She later develops a crush on Kouta.

Ryuusou Pink: Not connected to any tribe of Dragon Warriors, she developed her own Metal-based techniques.
Ryuusou Yellow: A descendant of the Lightning tribe of Dragon Warriors.
