After another ten minuets of question and insult, They finally, finally dismissed me.
I didn't need to be told twice. I'd already made the courtyard before he cold even finish the word "leave".
They confiscated everything. I had no weapons. no clothes. no food. nothing.
All they left me with was the bloody clothes on my back.
Getting round the castle was easy. I had learned my way around this place like the back of my hands. The corridor was mostly empty, only the occasional person or to walked by me. most of them did double takes. who wouldn't! but I just kept walking, not looking back. I started sticking to the shadows, though in the midday light there wasn't many dark ones, it was enough to not get noticed by the people.
I entered the maids dorms... bed chambers.
All eyes fell on me. damn.
The whispering started.
I was hoping for it to be empty. for them to still be doing lunch or something. But it seemed today they got back early.
Eyes Bernard there way through my already damaged back. I walked over to my bed, fighting the impulse to cry form the pain that was walking. every step I made sent wight hot shock-waves of pain through my being, reverberating from every bruise, every crack, every cut.
I've been fighting that impulse for the past seven hours.
I stopped slowly in-front of what was once my living area.
They took everything.
Anything that was remotely mine was gone! even the dresses I had bought as Cura!
All was left was an upturned chear and a slashed open bed. the draws were in splinters and they had even pulled up some of the floor boards.
One in particular had bin pulled up.
The loose floorboard.
That was were I'd stuck all my money and IDs. the currency was no good here. But they had still taken it.
I span round just in time to catch the broom aimed at my head. the movements alone nearly floors me.
Their was miss further on the other side of the broom.
"Get out." Though she was at lest a head shorter then me. she was more then threatening.
"Miss further. I meant no.."
I was cut of by another swing at my head.
"You lied. you deceived us all. get out of my sight!"
She punctuated every sentience with a swing. forcing me backwards.
"Whhoaw. I wold leave, just let me.."
The other people I'm the room didn't try to help her or stop her. they just stood there watching.
"We don't want a monster like you around. you'd be better off died."
That word made my hole body go ridged, I didn't react in time.
This time the broom court me around the head.
The force of it floored me. long scratches were drawn on my face from the straw Brussels.
My shoulder hit the grownd with a loud smack. Pain racked my body so much so that I wasn't shore whether I was gonna be sick or pass out.
Black dots filled my vision as I tried to right myself. wincing as someone grabbed the back of my neck.
