Foolish Heart

FOOLISH HEART

When you came into my life

I really thought you'd be the one

I thought I'd be your future wife

I thought you'd finally be my man

Everything started so sweet and lovely

I loved the way you'd stare at me

I loved the way you'd kiss me dearly

I loved the way you'd hold my hand tenderly

But all of a sudden I felt empty and drained

I gave you my all but what I got was pain

I cried a lot of tears when your freedom you gained

I was left in despair, so lost in the rain

And even when love between us have fallen apart

I hate it that you still own my foolish heart...
