She Is Out Of My League

chapter one : accepted

Anthony's POV :

I am so exited to go to harvard, I have been dreaming of this day my whole life .

As I stare at my computer intently waiting for it to tell me i got accepted , I remember i had at least an hour before I got the email .

But i still sat there just looking at the computer like the idiot i was .

I heard my mom yell my name bringing me back to reality .

" yes mom " I answered

" anthony get down here now jessie is here to see you "

" on my way mom "  i said

Jessie my life long best friend( literally we have known each other since birth ) she is slim , curvy , has green greyish eyes and long wavy blonde hair she is very pretty an i have the biggest crush on  her but she only see's me as a friend .

" hey babe "

I said as I hugged her an lead he up to my room.

" um .......hi anthony i have something to tell you "

Her tone sounded a bit too worried for my liking so as I reached my room I shut the door an we sat on my bed 

" I got accepted in arden "

She said as she squealed an jumped I was so exited an a little sad I wanted her to come to harvard but she has been dreaming about Arden just as I have been dreaming about harvard so I was exited for her i hugged her an suggested that  we celebrate an she said

"lets wait until you get your email from harvard first"

That is when I remembered i'm  getting it today at 12:00 pm sharp , an it is 11:05 am now so to kill time we went to my back yard an went to the pool.

My family is filthy rich so is jessie's.

Our dads are business partners for americas biggest car dealing company so yeah we are rich.

jessie lives  next door so she went to change into her swim suit.

As she came back she undone her shoes an let her dress fall to the floor as she dived in the pool an i dived in after her we swam an played.

It was soon time for me to receive my email so i got out an got changed into clean dry cloths an went to the kitchen,  mom gave us snacks an we ate an went up to my room as I shut the door my heart rate accelerated an jessie kept reassuring me that its gonna be okay so we went an sat in front of my computer an waited for like three hours .

Okay......maybe more like three minutes but the anticipation made it seem like forever.

We  looked at my computer like our life depended on it ( an in all honesty in did ..well for me anyway .)

As the clock ticked 12:00 p.m my computer made a ding noise alerting us that I had received a message I hesitantly opened the email an squeezed my eyes shut as i prepare myself for the feeling of being a failure .

When I heard jessie squealing I  slowly opened my eyes an to my surprise I  got accepted .

  I was so overjoyed I squealed  , not a normal one though it was one of those high pitched girly squeals girls did while fangirling

" mom i got accepted in Harvard" 

" I know honey " mom said an i heard dad chuckle
   

Well an "congratulations  son " or an " I'm proud of you " would have been appreciated but oh well  .

I cant wait to go to college .

I still have a few weeks of school though .

Few more weeks of this hellhole called oakwood high .

Well at least i have jess
