"Let me take you out." He says with a devilish smirk.

"Your impeccable nature of trying to seduce me once again has failed, West." I glance up at him for a second.

"For one, I have no idea what the fuck you just said, and two I know you want to. It's your last summer here until we both got off to school again. What do you say, let's do stuff we'll regret?" He inches closer to me giving me a tingling sensation in my stomach.

I gulp, but quickly recover my posture. "I think that there is a slightest ounce of love in my body for you, Summers, then hell must have frozen over."

He doesn't seem fazed at all by my comeback jabbing at his ego. Pushing back his tousled brown hair, he rolls his eyes. West Summers, a college boy who can't seem to grasp the fact that we are in no way close to being in a relationship whatsoever or being friends. He has this kind of illusion that every girl in the world is out to get in his pants.

"North baby, let's work things out. You know we're meant to be together. You're a girl, I'm a smoking hot guy......" He gestures to his figure. I look up and down at him taking in the view. There's no doubt that he's not good looking. I'm just saying that his face and his body aren't as amazingly hot as he is trying to say.

"Is that really your reasoning for me to consider a date with you? So since I don't have bulge in my pants and an abnormal amount of hair on my body that means that I should sleep with the first guy I meet? Look I have to close up and you're kind of stopping me from doing that. Now that I think about it, we have a no loitering policy that you just broke half an hour ago. So either you order something or by the state of Michigan law, you have to leave." I walk over behind the bar, reaching over for the cleaning spray and towel.

"You don't mean that, you know your my one and only. That whole thing with you and me back in high school, was well it was amazing but it didn't work out this us. I wanna make things right." He whined while following me behind the bar. Before I knew it, his hand were wrapped around my waist, and his chin in the crook of my neck. I pushed away his tall silhouette in disgust.

When I was in high school I was head over heels over this boy, only to be left with a broken heart on prom night and a vivid memory of him and some whore making out. I guess you get the idea of my hate fire for him. "Please don't try and feel me up. Either you get a job and help me clean up or you leave before I call the police." My voice seething with annoyance.

West tilted his head to the side and started laughing. "You probably think I'm going to leave but you're wrong. I'll take you up on that offer for a job." His mouth curled up in a smirk.

I raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "You, West Summers, want a job at The Brew? If I wasn't mistaken here, you want a job? You know you have to wake up at like seven o'clock to set up and then close up shop every day at around nine o'clock. That is a whopping fourteen hours or more of work. Do you think you can handle that?" A smirk of my very own began to form as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"When do I start?" He said.

I threw an apron at him, failing to hit him dead in the face. "I'll see you tomorrow at seven sharp. Don't be a second late, Summers."

"Alright, captain." He gave me a salute.
