"(Name of Someone you Hate), daughter of Andrea the High Witch, your days of using forbidden magic against Lord Death are over."Two shadows stood upon a rooftop, overlooking an abandoned warehouse. The cool night air ruffling their clothes and hair, the moon illuminating their figures against the dark shadows. One had short silver hair, which shone brightly with the moonlight and the other had (h/l) (h/c) hair, which brought out their (e/c) eyes.
"Lord Death said to bring you in either dead or alive," the silver haired male explained loudly to the witch hiding within the deserted building. "Personally, I prefer dead." He muttered loud enough for only his partner's ears.
"Surrender yourself now, or we will be forced to take your soul ourselves."
Suddenly glowing red spikes shot out from the warehouse towards the duo, whom remained still and unfazed by the attack as the spikes flew past them.
"Dead it is." (y/n) smirked as they stretched their hand towards Andrew, their weapon partner. Chuckling to himself, Andrew transformed into a metre long broadsword. His weapon form was black in colour with red jewels imbedded into the hilt. {A/N like Dark/Shadow Link's Master sword}
(y/n) bounded from the rooftop they stood upon to that of the warehouse, breaking through it on impact. Landing in a crouched position, weapon and meister strengthened their soul bond, charging up for an attack.
It was quiet.
"The Incy Wincy spider climbed up the water spout."
Light footsteps could be heard everywhere. Little creatures scurried about the barren room, running up the walls and across the floor.
"That's disgusting." (y/n) shivered, hearing the faint scuttles.
"I can't sense this bitch anywhere" Andrew informed, "We should keep moving".
"Right."
"Down came the rain and washed the spider out"
Moving into another room of the warehouse (y/n) held Andrew in a defensive position, ready for any surprise attack. Noticing the lack of movement the next room, (y/n) slowly made their way inside and looked around. There was another doorway connected to this room, a soft glow radiating through it.
A crunch and a squish could be heard with every step (y/n) took. Looking at Andrew's figure through the jewels of his weapon form, (y/n) and Andrew nodded in sync before Andrew's sword blade began to glow.
"Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain"
Corpses. The floor was littered with decaying bodies. Rotting flesh. Piles of bones and skulls.
Gagging, (y/n)'s face scrunched up in disgust.
"So messy." Andrew sighed sarcastically, unaffected by the sight around him, "We'll have to come back and recover these souls after this job, won't we?"
Irritated by their partner's dismissive attitude, (y/n) continued to walk through the room, approaching the doorway.
"So the Incy Wincy spider climbed up the spout again"
Groaning.
Crying.
A bony hand grabbed onto (y/n)'s leg, startling them and causing them to jerk away. The light of the sword shone throughout the room, revealing the army of undead rising.
"Looks like we won't have to wait."
White light begins to radiate from the pair. Their Souls. Their Wavelength.
"LET'S GO SOUL RESONANCE"
This light was absorbed into Andrew's weapon form, causing him to change into a glowing claymore. (y/n) heaved the massive blade over their shoulder before charging towards the centre of the undead army.
"Spirit Release!" Swinging Andrew from their shoulder, (y/n) spun in a circle, the power from the resonance projecting a long beam of energy which cut through all the enemies surrounding the pair. It was if time stopped. Nothing moved. Black mist began leaking from the carcasses. Rotting flesh and bone fell to the ground, revealing the blue human soul trapped within them.
"Not bad..." a voice laughed from the voice unexplored room.
Suddenly a dark spikes erupt from the ground, impaling (y/n) and disrupting the bond between them and Andrew causing him to return to his base weapon form. Paralysed with pain, (y/n) was unable to do anything as a shadowy figure approached the duo from the doorway.
Blood dripped from their wounds, coughing up the metallic substance, vision blurred and body growing weaker. Footsteps echoed throughout the room, growing louder before stopping right in front of the pain stricken fighter. Sharp nails grasped tightly at (y/n)'s cheeks, the pain they caused barely noticeable.
"What's so great about you?" the witch questions, hand crackling with energy.
"Lots of things, things that'll never be" Andrew states whilst reverting back to his human form and pushing the witch aside, away from his partner. His arms shift into long black blades which he swings at the witch in frustration. {A/N Nanbaka anyone?}
Irritated by his response (Name of Someone you Hate) launched pulses of energy and spikes towards the living weapon.
Kick. Swing. Dodge. Spike. Slice. Miss. Punch. Pulse. Swipe. Evade.
Annoyed, (Name of Someone you Hate) sent another spike towards Andrew which was gracefully dodged.
"You missed" Andrew cocked, before continuing his assault.
"Did I?"
Grey eyes widened, realising the witch's plan. Time seemed to slow as Andrew used all of his energy to propel himself towards his meister. Forcing their eyes to refocus, (y/n) saw the spike flying towards them before their view was obscured the silhouette of a young man standing, arms outstretched and taking the blow for them.
The spike lodged itself into Andrew's chest.
'No...'
His body hit the floor.
"N-no..."
Blood pooled around his form.
"No..."
(Name of Someone you Hate)'s laughter filled the room.
"What an idiot, sacrificing yourself for someone who's as a good as dead."
"No."
"Don't worry dearie, you'll join him soon enough."
"NO!"
The world went white.
