Chapter XIV

"You keep bringing new guys to our group. Where do you find them?" Jade asks me.

"Well with Bender, we bumped into each other and had 3 classes with him. With Hayden, we meet at the gym. He complimented my punch and took me out for some McDonalds." I tell her and our now group of 5. It was only 3 people a few days ago and its going to be 6 in a few days because of Caleb. Now there is more guys than girls, I need to befriend girls, actually Jade is better at that than me.

"How good is her punch?" Bender asks Hayden. "The punching bag was moving so much I thought it was going to fall. I went over to hold it for her and she got pissed because I disturbed her-" "I thought he was going to hit on me!" I say defending myself.

"What type of guy do you think I am? Hayden asks me. The one that calls me kitty, strips in front of me and takes me out on the first day we met." I respond and hear a few chuckles from the rest of my friends.

"You got me there." He says and raises his hands up as if he was caught stealing.

"How do both of you like it here so far?" Jade asks the guys.

"I have friends and I only been in this school for 3 days." Bender answers, I chuckle.

"I guess, me too but I only been in the school for a few hours." Hayden says with a smile. I want a nice smile like his.

"You befriended Katalyna, you will honestly never be lonely." Derek tells them.

"What do you mean?" Hayden asks.

"Even though she seems and is scary but she is also a lowkey softie." Derek says and both him and Jade pinch my cheeks.

"I will massacre both of you if you guys do that again." I say and death stare them.

"You guys got to learn that Katalyna is very prideful." Jade explains to the guys. Who were looking at me funny.

"What I am not meant to be babied. The fuck I look like? I have a bloody hands, do I look like baby to you?" I say all fussed up. I dont like being treated like a baby. I am almost an adult, I am part of a gang, I am the opposite of a baby.

"You look like a big baby to me." Jade says sticking her tongue out at me.

"Do you think I am joking Jade Adab? I will punch you." I say and stare at her. I used her middle name she knows Im not in the mood.

"Well now I know you aren't." She says and gives me an apologetic smile and small pat on my leg.

"Are they going to fight?" Hayden asks all confused about our quick exchange of words.

"No, they arent. Kat isnt in a good mood, Jade pushed a little too far, Kat called her by her middle name and now she knows not to bother Kat. FYI middle names are a big sign." Derek explains to the now less confuse boy and similarly less confuse Bender.

"You all still have so much to learn. But the ONE thing you must always know is to not piss me off." I say and tap them both on the cheek.

"Hayden we going to calc together, we got the same class." I say and pick up my bag and start walking.

I feel Hayden catch up to me but he still hasnt said anything. My hands are killing me, I should of taken some painkillers. No, I hate swallowing them and the only ones that work are so huge. I dont want Diana to know about it though. Fuck she finna find out either way.

"You are scary, arent you?" Hayden asks after being so silent.

"Yep." I say popping my p. "Should I be worried about you fighting anyone?" He asks me.
