After Joey had defeated Mai, Joey was really ecstatic that all he did was look at his star chips.
"Whooey! Heh heh. Two stars!" Joey cheered to himself, before he giggled.
"This is so awesome. I can't believe it happened! Am I cool, or what?" Joey bragged, while still giggling goofily.
"Is there a time limit on how long he gets to crow?" Tea rolled her eyes.
"Cut him some slack, Tea. Did you ever think Joey would actually beat Mai in a duel? I mean, Joey! Who would've thought?" Tristan smiled, a bit defensively.
"Exactly. I mean, he was just the idiotic fool who didn't know what he was doing, and now he changed to the guy who believed in himself, and won." Lea agreed, smiling as well.
"I knew he'd do it. I'm really proud of you, Joey." Yugi smiled, feeling proud of his friend.
"Yeah!" Joey cheered in agreement, before his stomach started to growl and he placed his hand to his stomach.
"Ugh, all that duelin' made me hungry." Joey groaned to himself, before he looked up at the others to face them.
"Did any of you guys remember to bring any food with you?" Joey reminded.
"Sorry, Joe." The four all apologized in unison, which frustrated Joey.
"What were we thinking coming here with no food? How are we ever gonna get through the rest of the competition without anything to eat?" Joey whined.
"That's a good question, Joey. This dueling really takes it out of you, and I haven't seen any burger stands or restaraunts since we got here." Yugi pondered in agreement.
"You can say that again, Yugi. I mean, why the heck weren't there any sushi restaraunts anywhere either?" Lea sighed in agreement, as she facepalmed.
"Well, we better do something fast! I've gotta have my five basic food groups, or else it's metabolic meltdown!" Tea spoke up, getting frustrated.
"Easy, Tea." Lea eased, as she had both of her arms up and had an awkward smile on her face.
"Hey! Chill out, you guys. I got it covered." Tristan suddenly spoke up reassuringly, as he smiled.
"Yeah?" The others all smiled, hopefully.
Tristan took out his book and showed it off to the others, "Check it out! The Great Outdoor Survival Guide."
The others were not really impressed, so they all frowned.
"Can we eat it?" Joey asked.
Tristan began to page through his book as he answered, "Better than that: It lists all the plants, roots, berries, and grasses we can eat."
Everyone was all disgusted by that answer.
"Come on, Tristan! We just only want a decent meal other than that piece of shit!" Lea snapped, before Joey walked towards Tristan irritably.
"Do I look like a squirrel, you big doofus?!" Joey snapped in his face, before Joey suddenly sniffed something that caught his nose...
"I don't need your dumb book anyhow." He said smartly, before he turned and pointed to the direction where the smell was coming from.
"I smell something cooking that-a-way!" He gestured, before he started to run off.
"See ya!" He announced, before he went out of sight.
"He's hallucinating." Tea rolled her eyes.
"Don't be so sure. You know, it wasn't his brain that beat Mai. It was his nose." Tristan replied to Tea.
"Right." Lea said sarcastically, as she raised her eyebrow with an unimpressed look on her face while placing her hands to her hips.

Meanwhile, as the others all followed Joey to where the delicious smell was coming from... It was then that they discovered that it was coming from the fish that was being cooked.

"Oh, man! I just love barbecued fish!" Joey exclaimed, with a wide smile on his face.

"Smells good." Yugi said, as he started at the fish in awe.

"Oh yeah, and I bet it tastes even better!" Joey agreed, before he went to go pick himself a fish, which shocked the others.

"Joey, what the hell are you doing?!" Lea exclaimed.

"What makes you think those fish are yours to eat?!" Tea exclaimed as well, as she pleaded for Joey to come back.

Joey turned around to face the sisters and smirked reassuringly,  "Hey, trust me. We eat first and ask questions later. Your stomachs'll thank me."
